Lil bar. It’s a place they no your name. I have gone a few times not a hang out for me because too many cops in Darien after you have drinks. Never know who you can find here or what they will be up to?

Heck yes Ernie's! A pet friendly, feel good, warm, friendly sweet home bar! Everyone is so nice. Amazing beer and shot prices. My dog is a regular ! (Just kidding)

Total dive bar. Sacha, the bartender, was very friendly, as were the other patrons. There was a real neighborhood bar vibe.
This place brings it. Not a fancy place, but a watering hole for locals and those who desire the local flavor. I can tell that it has been cleaned up from its former run down state, just enough to bring it current and not so much that it would lose its character. Worth a visit to see how the Darien crowd lets its hair down and relaxes.

The one-star rating is not hyperbole. This place is probably the most backwards establishment in lower Fairfield County; a gleaming example of what people who were not taught the value of money produces. The owner has continued to employ bartenders that have assaulted customers, and continued to serve regulars that routinely start fights, throw glass bottles and sell drugs. Any chance of being audited is unlikely; the owner and employees are in good with the local police, fire department and town officials. It's a shame, because it could be a really nice dive bar otherwise. If you want to see coke-addicted trophy wives hurl bottles across the bar, or watch a couple rich white boys get into it over a girl, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away from this shitshow.
