Raphael's Bakery is the absolute best! I was in town from NorCal and I stopped by to meet a friend in Greenwich. I had some time to kill so I started asking Charlotte about why my homemade sourdough bread wasn't successful. She called Raphael over who, while he didn't share his secret receipe, he helped me understand the reasons why my bread wasn't full of air and getting any "oven lift." I am in love with this bakery. I live in White Plains, but will make every excuse to go back. The pastries are perfect. My kouign amann was flaky and chewy and surprisingly not too sweet. The chocolate chip walnut cookie might be the best I have ever had. They put a little choux pastry on top of my coffee. A thoughtful and tasty touch. I am excited to dig into the baguette and multi grain loaf this am, but I am already planning my return ti have a napoleon.

Raphael's Bakery is a family-run bakery that feels like a special place and an amazing jewel for the community. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, open, and bright. Everything is top notch, made fresh daily with the finest ingredients. The food is amazing, with incredible, flaky, and buttery pastries. The loaf of sourdough bread is easily the best bread ever had, and steaming hot bread and croissants come out of the oven. Their coffee is organic and locally roasted. The staff is wonderful and helpful. It is an unforgettable experience.
