The pastries I tried were all outstanding and the baguette is amazing. The staff were very friendly and kind- they threw in a few free items for me to try. They were nice to chat with especially as I’m from out of town and looking to move to the area. I was very impressed with Raphael’s.

I stopped into Raphael’s Bakery today and had such a great experience. From the moment I walked in, the team could not have been more warm and welcoming. You can really feel the care and pride that comes with a family-owned business.
I had an iced coffee and a turkey sandwich, both were delicious, and I also tried their chouquettes which were incredible. Light, airy, and perfectly sweet with that little crunch of pearl sugar on top.
It is so nice to have another family business in the Heights, and I am excited to support them. Wishing the Raphael’s team a warm welcome to the neighborhood.

I come to the area a few times a year and always count down the days until I get to go back to Raphael’s - this time we tried the new location. Outstanding service, everything we tried was a 10/10. I am once again blown away by the food and hospitality. We went two days in a row- its just that good. So excited to learn the new location is offering some different and new items!

Yummy pastries and coffee. I went here one afternoon to grab something quick to eat while I did a bit of work. My only qualm was the atmosphere - super bright lights and loud pop music, felt a bit more like a club than a quaint French bakery. I ended up going somewhere else to work as it was tough to focus.

Beautiful location. Decent Americano. Since I am only fond of savory stuff, it was great to see the options unlike the other local cafes laden with diabetes causing sweet treats.
This is an authentic, exemplary, family-run French bakery with the highest possible standards for food, staff, and atmosphere. The Greenwich and Darien locations are both divine; if you want to sit down, there are more tables at the newer Darien location.
Incredible spot for a date, coffee, take-out, or even lunch. They also give a free chouquette with coffee, tea, etc... must-go!
