I come to Hard Hat pretty often, and when I do, I always try to make sure Fran or Dontae are working, or my girlfriend and I will sit at the bar. They’re consistently attentive and make the experience better. Other servers are friendly, but service can be slow or they sometimes disappear.

The food is good overall, but unfortunately it’s very inconsistent. That seems to be the main issue—dishes don’t always look or taste the same, which I think has caused...

3 times wasn’t the charm. We have gone 3 times since they opened (and a door dash order) and weren’t happy with any experiences. Service issues every time! Inexperienced, slow waitstaff and bartenders. Got tired of waiting 15 minutes for a drink and getting drinks that weren’t made correctly. Even the manager on duty last night wasn’t good at keeping things flowing.

We had the bison burger and ceasar salad.
The burger was huge and the salad was large as well. Both cost about $18 each.
There are Mexican specials on Tuesday and Italian Wednesday.
The burger was tender and juicy.
