A very cozy and a little kooky but in a very endearing way. i had the Et Tu Bruno Wrap (chicken caesar) and it was very good i would definitely get it again. my wife got the Tomcat Turkey sandwich (think thanksgiving meal between bread) and we both LOVED it. we both will be back and are excited to try more of what they have on the menu.

Mark was very welcoming to my wife and I. Loved the atmosphere and vibe of the place. Everywhere I looked there was something interesting to look at. The food was served in a timely matter. More importantly, it was fresh and delicious. On our way out, Mark made sure to wish us well. He even remembered our names, which made us feel even more welcome. Most definitely recommend this cozy, friendly, and tasty location.

My favorite lunch spot in the area! The entire staff is very friendly. The owner in particular goes out of his way to greet customers and get to know them. He calls regulars by name. All the kitty paraphernalia is adorable, as are the kitties themselves. The bright exterior is an immediate mood booster on cloudy days.Drinks are fantastic and very reasonably priced. Food is great — sandwiches don’t fall apart the second you pick them up and the ingredients are high quality.Parking: Unpaved. Snow is generally cleared in a timely manner.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spaces. I’m not in a wheelchair so I’m not sure what else to say.

Came here during a birthday trip, and it made my day. Excellent food and coffee and the staff and owner was so kind. We got to sit with the cats in their room, and enjoyed our food outside in the deck.

This place is another great example of a hidden gem in the CT River Valley. You'll find this very unique cafe in the cozy town of East Haddam, not far from sites like Devil's Hopyard and Gillette's Castle. The first time I came here with my youngest, the gentleman at the counter says "Hi Eloise, how's it going today? You going to have the shrimp and corn chowder again?". Like they were old friends. I later asked my daughter how often she'd been there with my wife and she was like - once a month ago. So yeah, that's the kind of service to expect here. Good vibes all around. I've had a few different yummy sandwiches here, the aforementioned chowder which is AMAZING, and the ice cream of course. They offer a nice variety of food for a small cafe. There is seating in several different rooms around the place, which is just filled with interesting Knick knacks and memorabilia, mostly cat themed. There is also seating on the porch outside. All around this is a fantastic spot to stop for a quick bite en route to another destination in town or make it your destination and relax for a while.
