“I was very impressed! Great seasonal cider with quite a few varieties. I recommend their Jack O Lantern Cider and Rhubarb wine. They had a fried chicken food truck that was "farm to food truck." We loved the two massive fire pits on the property- kept us there for hours!”

“I haven’t been to Deb’s in a while, but dropped in on my way home from the airport. I was greeted like an old friend. I treated myself to the Country Fried Steak with Sausage Gravy breakfast. Outstanding…the best Country Fried Steak this side of Oklahoma. I’ve never seen so much sausage in gravy as I had today. I plan on treating myself more often. Mark me.”

“Eggs Up continues to be the best breakfast place in town. The food is always excellent and they have a great variety on their menu along with good specials. The only downside is that it is a very small restaurant and seating is very limited. During peak times there will usually not be a table free and you may have to wait a while until there is one available. If the crowd waiting is outside the door, you may be better off just finding somewhere else to go unfortunately.”

“Jack's was recently featured on channel 3. We are big breakfast folk, so a 35 minute drive from Manchester on a sunny (cold) morning to see if the restaurant was as good as it was supposed to be was very feasible for us. In a small stip mall in Higganum, we found Jack's. Clean & inviting inside, there was a short wait which we expected (due to the publicity on TV) We looked for someone taking names (to be seated), however seeing no one, we asked one of the locals waiting and was told they just eyeball the people waiting & seat them in order of when they arrived. Within a few minutes, we were seated in a comfortable booth. All the servers were really nice. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. Coffee poured - not bad, though not quite as strong as I like it. I had 2 slices of cinnamon French toast served with cinnamon butter. So good!!! My husband had an omelette which he said was really good too. And prices were extremely reasonable. You could tell this was a great local place, but with the channel 3 publicity, many out of town folks were discovering Jacks's. As we told our waitress, we will be back. And she said she will be looking for us”

“Was traveling for work and stopped at this adorable little shop with a great purpose. The employees were warm and welcoming. There is plenty of room to work, enjoy time with family and friends, or eat. The ambiance is beautiful with lots of plants, activities, and great lighting. The cappuccino and bagel I ordered were both delicious!”

The poke included fresh tuna and the rice was cooked perfectly, however in my opinion the sauce was too tomatoey flavored and overpowered the rest of the dish. The veggie burger tasted good but would benefit from the patty being a little crispier.Had the warm chocolate chip cookie w/ ice cream for desert which was lovely.Overall good experience and would go back. “I come for the gyro and bacon cheeseburger platters; not a fan of Greek-style pizza (Neopolitan all the way!). Besides a couple minor order glitches, I've always been pleased with the friendly and attentive service, food quality, flavor, freshness, portions and price. I've only been there at pretty quiet times, but there's constant take-out foot traffic regardless of when I go, which is a good sign in my book.”
