It has an old fashion inn appeal, the staff is always friendly and the homemade case of goodies up front has something for every sweet tooth. It's right next to some great, locally owed small business, come and support them all. Makes for a great destination on a beautiful Sunday.”

“I haven’t been to Deb’s in a while, but dropped in on my way home from the airport. I was greeted like an old friend. I treated myself to the Country Fried Steak with Sausage Gravy breakfast. Outstanding…the best Country Fried Steak this side of Oklahoma. I’ve never seen so much sausage in gravy as I had today. I plan on treating myself more often. Mark me.”

“Eggs Up continues to be the best breakfast place in town. The food is always excellent and they have a great variety on their menu along with good specials. The only downside is that it is a very small restaurant and seating is very limited. During peak times there will usually not be a table free and you may have to wait a while until there is one available. If the crowd waiting is outside the door, you may be better off just finding somewhere else to go unfortunately.”

“Jack's was recently featured on channel 3. We are big breakfast folk, so a 35 minute drive from Manchester on a sunny (cold) morning to see if the restaurant was as good as it was supposed to be was very feasible for us. In a small stip mall in Higganum, we found Jack's. Clean & inviting inside, there was a short wait which we expected (due to the publicity on TV) We looked for someone taking names (to be seated), however seeing no one, we asked one of the locals waiting and was told they just eyeball the people waiting & seat them in order of when they arrived. Within a few minutes, we were seated in a comfortable booth. All the servers were really nice. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming. Coffee poured - not bad, though not quite as strong as I like it. I had 2 slices of cinnamon French toast served with cinnamon butter. So good!!! My husband had an omelette which he said was really good too. And prices were extremely reasonable. You could tell this was a great local place, but with the channel 3 publicity, many out of town folks were discovering Jacks's. As we told our waitress, we will be back. And she said she will be looking for us”

“Was traveling for work and stopped at this adorable little shop with a great purpose. The employees were warm and welcoming. There is plenty of room to work, enjoy time with family and friends, or eat. The ambiance is beautiful with lots of plants, activities, and great lighting. The cappuccino and bagel I ordered were both delicious!”

“I love Yankee Cider! I've been here a few times now and usually order a flight. There hasn't really been a cider I didn't enjoy, but I will say that I've tried some of the wines and don't particularly care for them. The location is pretty secluded with plenty of seating outside during warm weather. It can be busy inside with limited seating, especially if there's an event going on, but there's enough space around the bar to stand. The staff is always super nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the various ciders. During my recent trip, I chose the Captain Coit Blueberry, Rochambeau Raspberry, Concord Grape, Birch, Caramel Cider Donut, and the Apple Pie Sangria - I enjoyed them all. In all, I'm always looking forward to future trips to try new flavors. If you like hard cider as much as I do, then I highly recommend a visit!”

“Overall good experience.Appetizer was crispy duck wings which were delicious and perfectly cooked.For the mains I got the poke and my girlfriend, the veggie burger w/ truffle w/ fries. The poke included fresh tuna and the rice was cooked perfectly, however in my opinion the sauce was too tomatoey flavored and overpowered the rest of the dish. The veggie burger tasted good but would benefit from the patty being a little crispier.Had the warm chocolate chip cookie w/ ice cream for desert which was lovely.Overall good experience and would go back. Means of comments above is suggestions to enhance what the restaurant has to offer.”

“I come for the gyro and bacon cheeseburger platters; not a fan of Greek-style pizza (Neopolitan all the way!). Besides a couple minor order glitches, I've always been pleased with the friendly and attentive service, food quality, flavor, freshness, portions and price. I've only been there at pretty quiet times, but there's constant take-out foot traffic regardless of when I go, which is a good sign in my book.”

“I found this place through word of mouth. I live 45min away and try to stop in and stock up. The bread and pasta is very fresh and you can taste the difference of the quality ingredients. Their sourdough is perfect for grilled cheese and the bagels are mi favorite. I wish I lived closer to come here more often. Great job!!”

“Excellent breakfast and brunch place.It is small, but it makes sense for a local spot in a small town.I've eaten here several times now and I am yet to be dissapointed.This time I had the French Toast special ? french toast was moist, stuffed with apples and topped with whipped cream and spinkled with cinnamon. Got a side of bacon to offset the sweetness of the french toast. It was the perfect breakfasts. My friends had Western omelets that are their go to here for breakfast”

“Oz n Bones deserves 5 stars across the board for what it does so well, but on one level it did not meet my expectation, and that's because they do everything so well, let me explain.We went on a Saturday night and had never been there before. When dining on a weekend, we like to experience a dining experience in which we can linger and enjoy an entire dining event, lasting an hour or two. But the system here is so well orchestrated, you are in and out in the blink of an eye, which is a tribute to the operation, but does not make for a Saturday night date night.Upon entering I was surprised to see that it's set up like a fast food operation, order at the counter and head to your seat, and on the way stop and meet their friendly bartender and grab your drink, no appetizers are available. We did that, and by the time we got our drink quickly, and arrived at a table, our meal was waiting for us. So, no time for dinner conversation while we enjoyed our drink. No sense letting the food get cold, so we dig in, drink our adult beverages while we eat, and we're done in about 30 minutes, very efficient.The food is fabulous, the staff is amazing, the service is efficient, and the setting is beautiful. Will I go back again and recommend it for what it is, absolutely. But, not on a weekend when I seek a nice full dining experience, if we were meeting another couple, we would have no time for conversation. It is reasonably priced, but as we did spend about $80 for 2 meals with one drink each, and were out of there in 30 minutes. For that amount we could go to another restaurant for a more traditional weekend dining experience, and not have to clear our own table when done.I love this place, and look forward to going back when I am looking for a quick bite to eat.”
