“11-13 First time ordered two 8 oz Ultimate burgers. The meat was flavorful and not dripping to cause the brioche roll to be soggy. The Ultimate came with red steak tomatoes red onion and green leaf lettuce. Fries were hot and the onion rings were crazy good. Every happened with awesome server Steve.“

“My wife had the Prime Rib special and absolutely loved it. The portion was perfect and came with side salad as well as the potato and vegetables. I had wings and a garden salad and had half of both for lunch the next day. Prices for both meals was on point. We will definitely be back again soon.“

Happy hour EVERY DAY 2-6 (buy two drinks, get a FREE small pizza 2-5p, and other great deals). This was honestly the BEST pizza I have had in a LOOOOONG time. For reference, my usual favorites are Mondo in Middletown and Modern in New Haven. Square Peg is at that level for me now. We ordered 1. Bianco + bacon, 2. Pepperoni, and 3. Spicy Margarita and I’d rank them in that order. Probably wouldn’t order the margarita again, but the other two…. No doubt in my mind that we’ll be back for these. The bottom crust was thin and floppy, but stable and not soggy. The sauce was light, not chunky or overpowering. Perfectly sliced meat for a good char but still tender. The edge crust was super soft and flavorful, good char, nice bubbles, not chewy or cracker-y. 5/5 couldn’t ask for anything better (except a golden canoli).“

“I can’t recommend Ming Bao enough! Every time we order take out, the employees are always incredibly kind and welcoming. I also want to add that the food is incredible. My husband and I always order general tso combination plates. The lo mein is also super yummy!We ordered take out tonight and when my husband came home with the food, he kept talking about how friendly everyone is, which isn’t unusual! We look forward to ordering again soon!“

“Wow, I dont even know where to start! I visited Marlborough Pizza for the very first time yesterday and was quite blown away. As soon as my family and I walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a hello from the staff members. These days nobody ever looks up to acknowledge anyone anmore. They work as a team over there, one lady sat us whyle the other wemt to fetch menus and Utensils right away. My boyfriend and I had his small children with us and they were WILD, lol tons of energy and loud and not once did the staff make us feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed. So for that I thank you. Also the food was PHENOMENAL! Pizza was great and had fresh garlic on it not garlic powder like most places. And the wings were mot soggy and they used real Buffalo sauce, not watered down hot sauce. I was impressed al around and cannot wait to go back.“

“A Glastonbury landmark. Spartan storefront - mostly takeout - that serves simple, straightforward Chinese and Chinese-American fare. Have been eating and enjoying their chicken broccoli for near 30 years. Never fails. Singapore noodles Abit oily but very flavorful and packed with shrimp, pork and sliced veggies. Had General Tsaos Chicken this time - a first. Too sweet for my taste so it helped to order extra spicy.“

It was our first time going there, even though we live 6 min down the road.(I know, we've been missing out!) The bar staff was amazing in explaining the various types of wine, even allowing sampling before purchasing a glass. I've been to many wineries and the food/snacks are always overpriced. I love that you can purchase snacks here at a reasonable price AND they allow you to bring your own food-so fun! The atmosphere was cozy and just so beautiful. The show was great, we didn't stop laughing the entire time. We also met Toby and chatted with Karen and her husband,Larry? I believe. They gave us a quick history of how the winery came to be and they just seemed like the most genuine, nicest people ever. (Toby was the main attraction though!) “I just want to start out by saying the Weekend Before Thanksgiving got away from me. I was hospitalized overnight Sunday into Monday and woke in a panic Monday. I was scheduled to make a lasagne for my family Thanksgiving gathering for Thursday. I posted on the Middletown Facebook page and Carmella messaged me! She assured me she could handle a lasagne for 20-25 people and boy was she right! I picked it up Wednesday at 3pm. She came out to say Hi, her staff was excellent & courteous. There were other folks there picking up Thanksgiving take out. My family was thrilled and the lasagne was excellent. As I am tryping this, I am eating the last piece at almost 2am Tuesday morning. Kudos to Carmella and all involved. We will be in to try out breakfast soon. One Million Stars and Many Thanks.“
