Penny Weiz ale is the absolute best summer beer I ever had. Perfect balance!

This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I've been to East Hartford Brewing in December 2023, but decided to pay another visit.
This is a small brewery. It is hard to notice from the road, so pay attention to your map. There are two parking lots available, the closest one is pretty small. No food is sold inside. They have a patio for warmer months and a separate building that only works during warmer months, but I didn't have a chance to visit those. The main brewery space is freezing, it was not insulated well.
The beers here are great. There are multiple styles available: scotch ale, lager, sour, IPA and so on. Generally, one beer per style. The beers are really good. Between the visits, I tried all the beers they have except seasonals. My favorite is Amazing Grace (Barrel aged scotch ale). The beers were available in beer flights of four before, but not during my last visit.
This is an awesome place to visit for any craft beer enthusiast and it is worth a separate trip. I would only suggest going here during the warmer weather.
In a world of too many IPAs (IMHO), come check out CTs best kept secret of micro brewery's featuring the * original recipe * Ten Penny Ale... Top notch beer, staff & atmosphere in an intimate setting.
Great beer, great workers. Quiet and small. A great place to hang out when you don’t want to be around a lot of people.
Tiny quarters ok beers place just seems to be lacking something
This small brewery is fantastic! Beers were top-notch, the GM was super informative, and the ambiance was definitely spot on. I'll definitely be back!
Great beer and atmosphere! Lots of games to play!
Good beer and a cozy atmosphere. Parking is definitely hard to spot, but there’s a driveway on the left of the building that goes back behind the brewery.
Beer was really subpar, and the bald bartender Will was super rude

In an area where microbrewed IPAs are a “dime a dozen” - it’s refreshing to know that 10 Penny is back- brewing old world traditional ale - perfection! Cheers 10 Penny! Keep brewing CTs best beer EVER!
I love everything about EHBC! Also, Jill is super awesome and very knowledgeable about beers.
I love this place!! Penny weiz is my JAM!!! The coolest little spot so boho chic with like a 80s rocker vibe.
Nice place
