we had your chocolate cream pie for Christmas dessert and it was DELICIOUS! im not a huge pie fan but my mom's friend brought it...YUM! I'll definitely recommend your pies in the future!
Sad that Granny's Pies can't make a special pie for my dad that is sick and probably gonna be his last Christmas. He can't eat the crust and was asking for one last pie but unfortunately was denied because of the Holiday season. Convince over pride. Sad this 2nd generation is all about the bottom line and a special request from a dieing man was rejected... Sad,,, ohvwell Merry Christmas everyone...

Nice pie shop. It is a real whole in the wall place from the outside. If I wasn't looking for it, I would have driven right past. Excellent pies!

So, on my way to Boston, for some reason I Googled pies in CT. Granny's came up on top of the list. I rerouted my navigation to there location. When I pulled up, It was not at all what I expected. A bit of a dive looking place. Since I was already there I went on in. I ordered the Boston Creme and Banana Creme Pie. They also had an offer for a 6 pack of random slices. I got to my hotel in Boston and immediately tried the Banana pie. Without question the BEST Banana Cream Pie I have ever tasted. Trying the Pecan & apple pie tonight. To top it off, they are Kosher. This place really takes the cake.

We picked up a basic apple pie at the Nathan Hale's Farmer's Market in Coventry, CT last Sunday and for the first time after many many pies, the apples were soft! We hate biting into crunchy apples in a pie! Thanks Granny!
Love big feet :)

I was given a piece of strawberry-rhubarb pie and it was delicious.
Bought a small (5.5") Granny's Pie Factory Pie today at JC Farm on Wallingford Rd (Rt. 68) in Durham. I chose one from a refrigerator, so it appeared to be fresh but kept out of the heat of the day. Got home, dug in, and pie was still FROZEN. I don't know if it's "Granny's" or JC Farm doing the freezing, but at the point of sale at JC's, it's being passed off as fresh. FOR $13.99 FOR A 5.5" PIE!!
