I'm on a quest to visit as many breweries as I can. I visited Paddle Creek for the first time and the reason was sad as the brewery closes soon.

Nevertheless, I was pleased with my overall experience. The place is small and cozy, it has a wood cabin theme to it. It has one indoor space and a big patio. They serve beer flights. For this review I tried all available beers, and all of them were solid. Nothing astonishing, but just a good beer with a distinct taste. I particularly enjoyed their Brown Ale (He's a clown) and Kolsch (Lawn Racer) as the former boasted a strong tastes with notes of chocolate, and the latter was extremely refreshing and brewed just right for this style.

It is unfortunate that this place closes down, but hopefully it would be a new start for everyone involved.

Rich was a blast. The beer and atmosphere was what small time breweries are all about.
Would highly recommend.

Great Beer. Great Service. We went just before Father’s Day and were pleasantly surprised. When you go, hope that you end up meeting, some of their amazing staff. Cozy small business with indoor and outdoor seating. Loved the bartender, he was super friendly and really informative. Clearly knows his beer and the other local areas to visit. Their Blueberry Muffin Sour was top notch as was their IPAs. We’ll be back again.

Paddle Creek is a cozy brewery with a woodland camping theme. The small lineup of beers we tried boasted big flavors across all the styles. While IPA fans might immediately jump for the Hop Combine DNEIPA, the lighter abv Citranade NEIPA was actually our favorite of the flight and shouldn't be underestimated.

This Hartford brewery is worth a detour on the way to the XL Center, or Yard Goats game. So make some time for a pint on your trip to Hartford.

Beer was great. Wish the website was current so I could plan ahead. Also, would love a food truck. Didn't know about $5 cash pours on Thursday & Friday. Might wanna advertise that.

Grateful that East Hartford has a micro brewery. The beer is pretty good for the most part and well priced. They often have good food trucks outside. Friendly service. Limited hours so make sure they are open.

Really well crafted beers. The inside of the brewery is built and decorated to give you a warm, cozy feel. You will not feel like you're on Main St in EH. It made me feel like I was in a brewery in NH or ME. Worth the trip! Will definitely be back!

Lawn Racer is my favorite. The brown ale and the passion fruit NEIPA were also delicious. We visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon and although there was only one barkeep the service was friendly, hospitable and as fast as can be expected! The location a little hard to see if you're coming to from the highway, so keep an eye out!

7.20.23 Our 1st time here. Small place but cool vibe inside and outdoor seating is also available. Beer was great. Service was great. You can also BYO snacks.

Above average beer. It was very tasty and flavorful which should be the main reason to visit a brewery. Don’t let the size of this brewery fool you. What they lack in their location size, they make up for in their beer. The “Lazlo peach”, ?! Excellent service and a friendly, enjoyable environment. I do wish they had a paper handout that described the beers on tap because they were some available that were not online.

I can see why this brewery has such a high rating. You walk in and feel like you're right at home. Delicious beers with some nice variety. It's totally worth a visit in the East Hartford area, with great prices for flights of beer.
