I’ve had been here many times before but today I had to leave a review. The customer service was great and food (Stew Peas/Thursday) even better!

Very clean environment. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I suggest looking at your options before ordering so you can choose the most freshest and appetizing options. I tried the jerk chicken per staffs recommendation. In hindsight, I should have went for the curry or oxtail instead. Those two dishes looked pretty good. I would definitely try them out again but the jerk chicken texture was disappointing. It tasted like it should have been replaced with a fresher batch. I understand restaurants have good days and bad days. So, I will give them the benefit of doubt.

The food is pretty good overall but a bit overpriced!!! I bought a Caesar salad with jerk shrimp …only got four shrimp with a whole bunch of lettuce !!! I paid 17 for the salad!!! and asked for a couple extra dressings and all I got was one dressing and a whole bunch of Parmesan cheese!!! this is like the third time that this happened, almost like they don’t want to give out dressing for the salad 😆 I go here because it’s convenient. My school is close, but they just lost A customer today.

I feel like any negative reviews must be coming from some false competition, this place is great! Had the curry goat today and it was perfect, flavorful, and plentiful. Doesn't hurt that the place is also clean and the staff are really nice. Definitely recommend

I stopped in because the Puerto Rican food spot I like is closed on Monday's. I forgot. I'm glad I did because The Russell is a really cool spot. The first thing I noticed was the VERY clean & classy decor. A great atmosphere to sit & enjoy a meal, good music & lots to see without being over decorated. They're menu board is a huge well organized screen. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered cocoa bread & beef pattie, which were delicious & fresh. I REALLY loved the cocoa bread, I always wrap my beef pattie inside the cocoa bread. The young ladies who took my order & prepared my food were kind, efficient & I must say, very easy on the eyes lol. I look forward to trying the oxtail & jerk chicken next time I stop in. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

Paid $80 for 3 plates of oxtail barley any oxtail asked for gravy no gravy I will never go back to any of their locations.

This is truly a great place good food, good prices and great people. I had a wonderful time.
