The place is beyond disgusting inside. The meatballs tasted rotten. The cashier was rude and discombobulated. How anyone goes here over john and Maria's is beyond me. I'm surprised noones has gotten sick. Health dept should be in there for sure!!!

I use to order from here often but after covid, they stopped delivering inside my apartment building. To me, if you must get dressed, take an elevator and go outside, it's not really delivery. Since then, most restaurants have come back into the building. Now I'd rather a pie from Gia Maria's than Capotortos (which has, since, been my goto), especially since it's just as good a pie and it's less money, but I'd much rather pay extra to get it at my door. Sometimes much extra. I think Gia Maria's made an arbitrary decision that hurts their drivers. So now I say keep the change on an 18 dollar pie from a 20 dollar bill, but would rather say thanks for bringing it to my door. Here's 25 bucks. Keep the change. It, actually, comes out about the same. Several of my neighbors feel as I do although, I admit, most don't tip the way I do, or pay for Capotortos, so they get pizza from a less desirable place. C'mon, Gia Maria. Rescind that rule and allow your drivers to earn more without being shackled. And let me enjoy your wonderful apizza again.

I'm a relatively new resident of Connecticut and this is the first Pizzeria I can say I really like! Nothing against Apizza, but I grew up in NJ and I'm just used to having mozzarella on my pies 😊 Anyway, Gia Maria's is a very popular nonsense Italian place and their food is delish, their staff are great, and they even deliver! My family is very happy we found them!

Someone bought me a gift certificate. If it were not for that I wouldn’t know Gia Marie’s existed! Great pizza !! A new haven pizza diamond in the rough . It’s no nonsense atmosphere is fantastic Everything I ordered was awesome . The pizza didn’t disappoint 🍕🍕🍕🍕🍕

I ordered from here on 5/31/2025 their pizza is good I loved it so did the family I ordered a large pepperoni and large bacon and large sausage or meatball I don't remember lol and a large seafood pizza they were all good and I also ordered the 20 wings sweet and spicy my favorite now thank you Gia it all came too $124 I think but it was worth every penny. I called for delivery that day I'm not sure how they are in person.

My first time trying this place out and it was amazing! I’m from Texas so we don’t have pizza there like they do here. The pizza was thin, crispy and flavorful! I’m sure there are plenty of places around here that do the same but this place will definitely be my go to!
