I tried calling Moxie Breakfast in East Haven to place a takeout order for my family, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. We were left on hold for over 10 minutes — just waiting to order some food — and no one ever picked the phone back up. It honestly felt like they completely forgot about us.

When you’re hungry and trying to support a local business, being left on hold that long without anyone checking back in is really unprofessional and shows extremely poor customer service. This kind of experience makes it hard to want to give them another chance. Very frustrating and bad business practice overall.

I've eaten here frequently mostly to go as i have bought my home down the street and have lived here the last 5 years. I never knew the politics held by the owners nor ever cared to know the service and food was always. fine. however seeing in the window recently vote republicans etc. now opened a door to the political views of the business and I cant in good faith spend my money here any longer. A good recommendation would be keep your politics out of your public business if you want more success otherwise you will only attract ppl like you and thereby ibtold enough

Sandwich was fine....but $15 for two egg and cheese with meat? I mean, $6 is the going rate these days which is already high. $7.50 each is outrageous. This type of gouging keeps people away.

Food is not worth the price at all. Ordered chicken tenders and French toast. Chicken was disgusting and super thin. Hard to chew like it’s been reheated in the microwave and the French toast had a weird taste to it. Pancakes taste like the ones you heat up in the microwave. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

I have visited Moxie's for breakfast in East Haven CT. Different days and times of the week and I never leave disappointed. Nor the company I am with. The service is great. The staff is friendly, reasonable prices. A variety in their menu selections. The atmosphere is small but peaceful. It's a lovely atmosphere. I am a satisfied customer.

First time at Moxie. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese and asked what kind of rolls. I went with a Portuguese. When I checked out I noticed my guy charged an extra dollar to my surprise. Only to find out after leaving that they didn't give me a Portuguese roll😯 They also used process cheese for my sandwich. That was a first.

This is a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot. Lots of Mexican and Spanish stuff like excellent Poco de Gallo, homemade hot salsa and chorizo to go along with your eggs and bacon or salsa Verde to go with your turkey club. And good desserts.
