The food was quite good with a wide selection for breakfast. The waitress was friendly and tended to our needs. It has a home town feel and more than likely you may bump into someone you know if you’re an East Haven resident. Will definitely be back again.

I love stopping here for a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll when I am working down that way. I call it in and it’s always ready for me to pick it up. The restaurant is always crowded so I’m sure all the other food is great too!

PLEASE DO NOT go here if you are a POC!!! I asked the owner for a Route 80 omelette with turkey bacon (after already asking one of the servers if it was possible and her saying yes) and he proceeded to look me in my face and say he can’t do that. I was confused and asked why not and he said “how am i supposed to do that”. So I asked if the omelettes were premade already or are they fresh (the only logical reason why he couldn’t add turkey bacon to it would be that they’re premade). He’s looking at me like I have ten heads and says “yeah they’re made fresh. Do you want to pay extra for turkey bacon” which I have no problem with because I always get turkey bacon and have to pay (so I’m aware) and then he proceeds to look at me like he didn’t want to service me. So I just said it’s okay sir never mind. So he snatches the menu out of my hand and says “Goodbye!”. I was extremely uncomfortable being in there and it felt like we weren’t welcome. If I could give 0 stars I would!!

We had a wonderful experience!…. It was for breakfast and the food was done perfectly! I’m embarrassed to say that I can’t remember our waitress’s name, but she was absolutely wonderful and we wouldn’t hesitate to go there again! The place is a hidden gem!…. Even the portions were very generous!

I meet with my mom twice a month here, always great service with a wide variety of classic diner dishes. You wouldn't think much about the place from the outside but inside you'll find a clean place with plenty of seating for any size group. Good place to have good food in a relaxing environment. Enjoy!
