We ordered cupcakes from our wedding from here and they were INCREDIBLE. The flavors were out of this world - Hostess Cupcake, Oreo explosion, 24Karat to name a few. - and they also had a good gluten free option for our GF guests. I loved the seasonal flavor options. Everything was so delicious and Brenda and her staff were a pleasure to work with. It was one of the highlights of my wedding planning and day. We got lots of compliments from guests. Thank you Sugar Bakery, can't wait to be back! Sharing a few photos from guests that don't do them justice :) and my sister's menu which we had a lot of fun with.

I ordered a birthday cake, and was delighted by the customer service (thank you, Denise!). We were thrilled with the result-the cake was fabulous! When we picked up the cake, we were tempted by the other treats in the bakery and bought several amazing decorated cookies and a cupcake. This will be my go-to bakery! A true gem.

First time at Sugar Bakery today, and was so impressed with the whole experience. The cupcakes were outstanding...moist with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff working there were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was immaculate. Will most definitely be back and highly recommend!

I've gotten ALL my cupcakes and cakes from Sugar since I found them 12 years ago!I love that they have so many different flavors to choose from and they also do amazing jobs with cakes. What I love the most about Sugar Bakery is that no matter the time of day or the day of the week you always receive great customer service from whomever is behind the counter. They make you feel like family every single time you go there!
I have to say the cakes are good, but the customer service in the store is horrendous. These ladies have such an attitude that it’s unacceptable. I think they need to realize they are not the only cake place in Connecticut and for the money they charge we do not have to deal with nasty attitudes and on top of that get over you’re in East Haven, Connecticut, not Madison. I definitely will not be returning or referring them to anybody
Ordered my birthday cake from here this year and am looking forward to doing so again next year! Can’t believe I didn’t get a better photo lol trash photo of a bomb ass cake (I got the Nutella one!)

Found the Sugar Bakery while searching for bakeries nearby we decided to take a chance the store is clean very well organized, and the staff were absolutely friendly, helpful and patient with us! The wait time was reasonable. We needed a birthday cake and found it easy to purchase one without having to order ahead of time. The cake along with cupcakes were absolutely deliciously moist not too sugary just right! The frosting was delicious, fluffy, and light. The cake was exquisite not too dense not too moist perfect. Our son who does not like cakes or could never finish one finished this cake. He said, “It’s absolutely delicious.” We will definitely be back for special occasions!
