This place is permanently closed and has changed to Constantines on the bayI put three stars because we have had great service but not always great food. The last meal made us not want to ever go back again. Our meals weren't that great, and my chicken was super dry and rubbery. I asked for the check and didn't ask for a to go box. I didn't complain to anyone but didn't want to take home my leftovers. The next thing I knew, the owner came over and asked what was wrong with my meal? At that time, I told him what was wrong. He proceeded to take my dish in the back, and when he came back out, he said there was nothing wrong with your meal. I took a bite. I will not take it off your check. I sat there astonished because one I never asked him to take it off the check, but now he is telling me he took a bite and there is nothing wrong with my meal. We frequently visited this restaurant because of the friendly servers, but this was appalling. We have never gone back since. I can't believe after all our business and even had my birthday party there that I was treated in this disgusting manner. You don't do this to repeat customers or basically anybody. I have a right to like or dislike my meal.
My significant other and I were heading home to Westbrook and stopped for dinner here. I remember it as Constantine’s. We met the owner Chris and were so captivated by his personality. The food was great. One special was clam chowder with clam cakes, great combo. I could go on, but one thing you should know is that the staff is also fabulous. I recommend this place for food, sevice and atmosphere. I hear they have a lotHappening this spring with lobster, lobster, lobster. Stay tune.

The food and service is great but communication is poor. I sent them multiple emails through their website requesting pricing for my wedding after party and haven't even received a single response. Now their phone just rings off the hook due to being temporarily closed for the season. This is my last attempt at trying to get someone to contact me otherwise they will lose our business to someone else in town.

Beautiful spot for lunch over looking the ocean. Four and service were great. Had the chicken sandwich with fries, and strawberry lemonade. Filled up with a delicious “Delicious Chocolate Cake” that was awesome!! In Niantic give them a try. Easy parking there as well
Parking: Great place to park plenty of room
Very nice experience today for lunch for four. Raining so not busy. Delicious burger, ahi tuna, mushroom on a bun and potato skins. Very attentive service. We remember Constantine's here years ago so we're happy this place is great too.
This is one of the worst meals I have ever had. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, 26 dollars it was burnt to a crisp on stale bread old lettuce that had spoiled and they forgot the tomato. I told the waitress the food was not edible and they charged me anyway. My son had the salmon sandwich, salmon was way over cooked my daughter had a portobello pasta dish that was awful. 94 dollars with the tip, I will never go back, awful experience.
The worst meal we have ever had in Connecticut! The "Crab Bisque" was more like some random chowder, very congealed, no potatoes or herbs, bland pudding like soup. The Bleu cheese dressing on the salad was something from a public elementary school cafeteria. The lobster scampi with angel hair was an embarrassment! I don't know how this place has the nerve to serve such garbage! Amateurs just trying to get money from the tourists. The swordfish was small, WAY overcooked and just gross. So, we sent it back to the kitchen. The vegetables with the swordfish were basically raw. Maybe it's time to get a new chef or A chef if you want any repeat business, especially at these prices. Horrible, terrible food! So many other places in town...have to be better than this rip off!! NEVER going to this joke of an establishment again. Our waitress was mediocre.
Always a nice place to grab dinner in town during the summer season. Food is pretty good & the view of the water on the back deck is beautiful on a warm summer evening!

Food was great! Service was good, but not spectacular. I had the steak sandwich (a special when we went so it may not always be available). It was great! Steak was cooked to order and very good. My wife got the pulled pork l. She loved it. The fried shoestring onions were awesome! If we are ever in the area we would come back for sure. We ate outside on the upstairs deck. It was a bit windy, but the view was great!
Parking: Plenty of parking when we were there, but if it was busier there might not be enough.
If there is an option for zero star I would add it. The lady who seats us super mega bad. Anyway I heard the way she talked to the waitress wasn’t better at all. We went to check the tables outside on the grass if it is ok so we can seat. She was super bothered. I told her we are just checking the table and if it is not too sunny since you told us it is the only table available for 7 persons. is it a way to react with customers in a restaurant? Hai angel pasta super duper overcooked. Chicken sandwich with bacon worst sandwich ever.
Best chicken Caesar salad & enjoyed the clam fritters as well!! Busy night but our waiter was great and food came out timely ?
The Pineapple Cosmo made with Tito's vodka, was really strong and excellent!Lobster linguine could have used a little more flavor, but otherwise very good. Steak was cooked as requested and also very good. Salads were not great.Peanut butter pie is to die for!!! Our server Shannon may be the best we've had in YEARS! SHE TRULY IS 10 STARS!This was our first visit to the Main Street Grille, Shannon definitely will have us coming back again and again. There's also a great view of the Long Island sound.
Good seafood, quick and friendly service. Had the calamari and the baked haddock. Both dishes were tasty. Good portions.
