I left the outside dining area when I saw that people were being served their dinner in Styrofoam containers...and went across the street to Main Street Grill. If I'm paying 100.00+ for dinner, I'll have my food served on a ceramic plate rather then Styrofoam!!

My cousin and I had lunch there, arrived about 1,:30 not a soul in the place. I ordered broasted chicken which was OK, baked beans were OK, coleslaw terrible, mashed potatoes tasted funny like they were going bad. Cousin had a Reuben and couldn't even finish it. Had alot of stomach problems at night. Too bad food used to be pretty good. Meant to give only one star definitely not 4

We have never had a bad meal here. Food is fresh, home-made, and delicious!! A lot of times you eat someplace with a large variety on the menu and it lacks in some areas.....not here! Everything is always awesome!

An OK place to eat. We sat at the bar because we we're grabbing a quick lunch. It was a little dark but good enough. Not much of a beer selection though. If you are good with bud or longtrail your fine. Don't look for an IPA or a Gose though. I had the fish and chips. The fish was very fresh but the meal itself was. OK but not great. I found it a little bland and the fries were mostly soggy. My wife had the fish sandwich and was very pleased. I think it's worth checking out. You might not love it but I don't think it's a total letdown.

Where do I begin? We were in Niantic for weekend getaway and decided to go out for dinner overlooking the water. Smarty's seemed to have outside seating menu , seemed what we were looking for so we decided this is the place. Problem we didn't read any reviews! We ordered Bloody Marys which had so much pepper it was disgusting. We placed our order and no food for over an hour which was ridiculous there was very few people there! We got some fish that was mistaken for a tire tube and some vegetables that we swear we had no idea what they were! Bottom line stay away from this place they have absolutely no clue why they are in business.

Bar was noisy and could be heard thruout the restaurant. Service was excellent. We split an order of Fish and Chips. As advertised, Best in Town. Better than some we had in England! No salt added, we added our own to taste the way we like it.
