I’m missing Golden Irene’s amazing food but thinking this “temporary closure” is going to be permanent despite what the owner keeps saying. They’ve been shut for nearly six months now.
Business appeared closed down! I drove an hour or so off my planned route because I had eaten there a number of years back and the food was great and that is why I was returning. There should be something on their website to say that they are closed, etc. Golden Irene's I did not see that you were temporarily closed, if I had I certainly wouldn't have driven that far out of my way! Hands down our favorite restaurant in the enfield/Windsor area. Their pizzas, their pastas, their apps, everything is always perfect. And wonderful stuff as well. If you haven’t been- it’s a MUST try! 10/10
