The food was good, but the service was extremely poor. It was myself and my significant other for breakfast. Part of our order was "forgotten" (it was a side of toast). Waitress had a poor attitude upon walking in. No greeting, no thank yous or anything. We could hear her slamming dishes and silverware as we were eating. Even had an attitude upon paying.

3 people waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged at all, only to find another 2-top was also waiting. Took everyone else's order when I stepped outside for a phone call. Cashed out a single customer, looked at me, and went back to the kitchen. Didn't even ask me if I wanted anything at all (including a beverage) until she dropped off the food to the two other people I was sitting with. Not certain how she's even in operation with service that bad

My husband and I love this place. It is a one person operation, not a place to go if your in a hurry. The food is great. The proprietor and the customers are friendly. You get a real homecooked breakfast. Great lunches and phenominol corned beef and cabbage in March.
The food was great but the options were very limited. Also the service wasn't terrible but wasn't good.

Don't know where she gets the Rye bread but it's amazing. It makes for the best BLTs and best egg cheese bacon sandwiches. It really is a very cute nostalgic place to have a nice breakfast or lunch. Atmosphere is everything sometimes
