The pizza was good.Thin and crispy Plenty of toppings which I liked but we waited over a half hour for the pizza. I would strongly suggest call ahead and take out. It was a very good value.

We ate here after visiting the Essex steam train. It’s in a great location and wasn’t too difficult to find parking despite being summer.
The owner was incredibly friendly! He told us if we sat at the far picnic table outside, we’d get a view of the river. It was beautiful!
We ordered two large pizzas - one pepperoni and one cheese. Both were delicious. Nice crispy crust, sauce that was the perfect amount of sweet and savory, and good amount of cheese.

We had 11 pies delivered to the Essex steam train for my kid’s birthday party—so kept it simple. IMHO a cheese pie is the test of a great pizzeria, and they were excellent! The traditional was a big hit and the gluten-free was called ‘the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had’ by the people who ate it!
The driver arrived on time and was courteous about the fact that the train was late and had to wait for us.
