Beautiful bakery with wonderful baked goods! Cupcakes are delicious. Rasberry zingers - so so good. French sourdough bread is yummy too. So glad we bumped into this little gem im blackrock today. We will definitely be back😁🍪🍪

I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and requested specific colors—purple and pink with a turquoise drip and orange writing. When I picked up the cake, I was shocked to see they used a harsh green color for the drip instead. Not only was the substitution very noticeable and not at all close to what I asked for, but no one called to let me know they didn’t have turquoise or to ask if I’d prefer a different color. Communication was completely lacking.

I contacted the owner, who said she would refund me half of what I paid ($100). Instead, I only received $25 back, and when I went to pick it up, the experience was disappointing—she was not very friendly or apologetic.

I really wanted to support a local business, but this experience left me frustrated and disappointed. A simple phone call and better customer service could have gone a long way.

I purchased an Elmo cupcake for my daughter today that she was excited to get and it was absolutely disgusting. She took one bite and didn't want it. I tried it myself and the red sprinkles had such a bad taste along with the frosting.

My daughter had got a Cookie Monster cupcake very similar to the Elmo one from ShopRite and it tasted very good. It was also a fraction of the price of Alina's.

Last time I came here was 2 years ago. I purchased a res velvet cupcake. It was good but a bit hard. I decide to give them another shot and they've gotten worse. I can't speak for the cakes but the cupcakes are definitely not fresh and are dusgusting. A COMPLETE WASTE OF $4.75. it cost me an upset toddler.

After a home baker failed to deliver (the cake literally fell apart within minutes of arriving) we had to scramble and figure out where to get another cake within the hour! Alina’s instantly said they could assist and provided us with one of the most delicious cakes anyone attending the baby shower has ever had! Not only did they save the day but also accommodated such a quick turn around decorating the cake in minutes!

Beautiful looking cupcakes but when I bit into it, the cupcake was stale and tasted old , not fresh …. Not worth the expensive price.

I just had Alina's Cakes and Cookies provide the most exquisite cake for my mother's birthday luncheon. It was gorgeous with inlaid real flowers arranged so delicately on the icing. Everyone enjoyed the cake as it was really delicious. And they delivered the cake promptly.

Alina's Bakery always goes above and beyond for me! I have purchased about 4 cakes from them so far. They always make the cake look exactly like the reference picture & they taste amazing. The funfetti cake is super sweet but very good and the kids are always obsessed. The marble cake with cannoli filling is jaw dropping good and IM obsessed. Today I called for a last minute cake I needed by tonight. They moved things around to make sure I will get the cake in time tonight. They are incredible and the nicest people. 10/10 worth the price xoxo

Alina’s used to be our favorite place for cakes in town. We were able to speak to Alina directly, order phenomenal custom cakes and feel like our business was valued. Ever since the westport location opened, the Blackrock location has gone down in service and quality. The team is rude & arrogant, prices have become outrageously high, and when orders are late, customers not notified of delays. Overall extremely disappointed, we will take our decade long business, elsewhere.

I ordered a bungalow cake here for my dad and it was very good! The owner came out to give me my order and she was very friendly! There is many desserts to choose from and the inside is nice and clean! Highly recommend!

I have been a very satisfied Alina’s customer for years and confidently would go to her for any major event in my life that requires a beautiful and thoughtful cake. I recently ordered a cake for a surprise 70th birthday party and could not be more disappointed. When I came in to pick it up the cake on my way to the surprise party-the very lovely young man working behind the counter knew before showing me that something was off. I expressed that it did not look presentable and he quickly offered to do whatever he could to remedy the situation. I left having to rush around to find alternative solutions to try and make up for the haphazard and thoughtless presentation of what I was given.

I sent a personalized email to Alina and the bakery-expressing my disappointment as a long time customer and praising the problem solving and customer service of the gentleman working and kindly asked for a reply or acknowledgement of the email I sent. I am only submitting a review now as it has been over 5 weeks and I still have received no response from the bakery.

Sadly I will now be searching for a new bakery and would no longer confidently recommend Alina’s to anyone looking to pay a premium for something special.
