Had a good dining experience. The food was tasty, the prices were reasonable, and the wait staff was attentive to our needs. Would definately return.
Best food I've had in a long time
We had the ribs and the california chicken sandwich. Ribs were dry and chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Side salad, coleslaw, and fries were pretty solid. For 38 dollars, 2 meals, and a guinness, we will not be returning.
Very good food, good price.
On April 29, 2018 I went to bear and grill for a nice low key dinner. I order the filet tip salad, after a couple bites there was something in my mouth that I could not chew. Upon taking it out of my mouth, I notice it was paper (similar in texture to the paper between hamburgers). At this point I couldn't bring myself to continue eating. We called the waitress over to show it to her, she apologized immensely and brought it to the manager who then brought it into the kitchen. The waitress assured us, he would come to our table to discuss what had happened. Fast forward about 5-10 minutes and the manager came over with a filet on a plate to show us we were wrong and it was just fat. I told him, sir I know what it was and it was paper, it was folded up when I pulled it out of my mouth. His response was “there is no possible way it was paper the chef and I talked about it and it's just not possible our meat doesn't come packaged†(really?). As my boyfriend was telling him that it is unacceptable that there was something foreign in the salad the manager walked away before we were done talking (nice, huh?). He also made it very clear that he would not be taking it off the bill or offering us anything for our inconvenience. Fast forward about 5 minutes and the waitress comes over and apologizes for the managers behavior! I can not say enough great things about our waitress, she even offered to pay for the salad because she thought the way the manager handled the whole situation was very inappropriate. Oh, and while in the kitchen the manager was explaining how there was no way he was going to take anything off the bill or offering us anything on the house. It took our waitress basically begging him to do it for him to finally agree to take it off the bill. I am appalled that this establishment has management that is so rude, unprofessional, and careless. It speaks volumes that our waitress did more and offered more to accomodate us. I will not be going back as a result of the manager and his attitude.
Had pierogis and they were so good!! Incredibly friendly waitress and the relaxed atmosphere I remember from when I was younger.
They buy products from vendors and then run in the bill. We should all boycott the place. Zero stars is too good for them. Bad people.
I went with my family for thanksgiving, they were one of the few places open where we could get a reservation. We were warmly greeted, and seated immediately. The restaurant was not overly crowded, and we were eating within half an hour of being seated. I had their Thanksgiving special, and it was wonderful. The portion was very impressive, and the food was excellent. Turkey was moist and the stuffing and mashed potatoes were so good. Price is right too! I can't wait to come back.
Excellent American food, sandwiches are big and filling. Drinks are great. You will enjoy the attention and stuff are very friendly.
Great servers, awesome food, great beer on tap. I loved this place. Definitely going back.
