Transilvania Restaurant and Bar

We come here often but this time there were many fruit flies flying around our faces. And the table next to us was also swatting them. Hope this can be taken care of. It disrupts the enjoyment when eating.

Cool place and a very cool Halloween vibe. We loved the authentic Romanian fare. We were there for 2 hours because it took a while for the food to come out but when it did it was hot. Luckily we were not in a hurry. Otherwise the wait staff was very good and accommodating!! Would definitely go back!!

The restaurant was very loud and the food was overcooked and dry. We had to ask several staff members to find our waitress to bring us our check because for 30mins she disappeared. Will not return.

My daughter and I love this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service very good. The staff is ready to meet the diners' dietary preferences. My daughter is vegetarian. She had a delicious eggplant sandwich. Halloween is our favorite holiday and Transylvania Restaurant does a great job creating a just the right atmosphere. We are of Eastern European background and the chicken paprikash with spaetzle was authentically prepared and scrumptious. I highly recommend this place. We plan to return soon. Wish we lived closer!

I was pleasantly surprised , it was very busy , staff literally running back and forth, it was a little loud for my taste, seemed like a lot of people packed into a small space, the food was delicious!!! I would go back after Halloween so I can enjoy the ambience and atmosphere, the decoration for Halloween are very cool. !!!

The food was really good - the menu features very hearty dinners. I recommend the tripe soup and the skinless sausage AKA Vlad's Favorite on the menu. The Romanian food was a nice treat for something different. Lastly , you must join the trend and try the Vlad the Impaler dessert. The traditional donuts are yummy! Loved the outside/inside decor as well. Can't wait to return for more delicacies .

Fun place. Everyone was working hard and trying to accommodate the busy night. I think they have gained popularity and are getting used to it. They ran out of dishes on the menu and a hostess. Everyone was doing double jobs. We were not in a rush and enjoyed the night.

Love the Transilvania/Halloween theme. Chicken paprikash and stuffed cabbage were excellent.

We had reservations for 7:30. The staff looked overwhelmed because they had a couple of private parties going on. We hung at the bar and had a drink while they came up with our table. Got seated and the waitress was great. The menu was very appetizing and ranged from full on Hungarian/ Romanian meals to giant burgers. We had a bottle of wine with dinner. They didn't rush us and the food was hot and came out quickly. Great ambience and decorated for Halloween to the nines.

This was a great experience! The food was amazing and the decor was really cool. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure you were enjoying yourself.

The service was excellent. The food was very good. However, there was a very strong disinfectant/Lysol smell throughout the restaurant. It made it difficult to eat with that strong smell. The bathrooms were very dirty.

Great and unique drink menu. Band playing fun "scary music". People dressed accordingly for Halloween and vibe with strangers wass great! Food and service was a tad slow due to the amount of patrons. Place was very busy. Make reservations!
