11/9/24 first time here. My wonderful friend took me here. We had the Roma beans to share, really good. I had a Bernie's rum punch, good. Fettuccine con Funghi - very good. We had an order of bread, which was a nice sized round loaf for $3. It was worth it. Whatever my friend had, she liked it, it's one of her regular spots. Seating was very cozy, but it was fine, I didn't take any pictures because I didn't feel like bringing out my inner millennial... Even though I'm way past that age LOL. I do enjoy taking pictures of food, it was just not the right moment.
Great service and i hope to return some day, yes I'll take a pic or two.

I was there visiting Fairfield in late May (2024), and I so wish I recalled the name of our server. We were reseated inside after closing so we could enjoy our dessert, protected from the dusky mosquitoes. We were conscious of being the last folks seated, but were never rushed, and were encouraged to finish our apertifs.
I was gnoshing with the mother of one of my best friends, whose memorial I had just attended. It meant so much to me that we were able to enjoy our conversation and our meal without feeling a burden. Thank you, the food and drink were delicious, but nothing compared to the service.

We went for brunch today. The service and food were good. The waitress brought the check and disappeared.i read the check and we were overcharged by $8. When the waitress came back, I asked to see the menu. She didn’t say anything but came back with another check and told us “I fixed it”. In other words, she knew what the issue was! I wonder if they do this to everyone, to see who catches it

I got the scallop & asparagus risotto, it was delicious, the staff are friendly, the restraunt is nice & the prices are ok. The owner of this restaurant is very nice. Good place. I would definitely come back here again. The cheese ravioli is also really good.

Unwelcoming lunch experience. Went there for my son's bday lunch on a Wed, waitress - Autumn disappeared, pasta with scallops $28 was a few days old, salmon salad was not fresh, I didn't touch my food and cappuccino was served, cold. Never got a cupcake for birthday boy (waitress was aware) and manager (older lady) asked us if we wanted something else with a fake tone of voice, we had to get up to pay at counter cause there was no one to take our check. We did leave the 18% tip to let them know that they need it more then we do.

Good place for drinks by green of fairfield , but service was slow, waitress was a young girl rude when we said salmon wasnt fresh lacked flavor at all, scallops in a scampi poor and close to edge of edible, it was my birthday lunch and we didnt want to hang out for a desert cause of how long service was.
Rating is primarily because the outdoor seating is next to the Ffld green and a great location. Service was okay and food was hit or miss but nothing I would rush back for. Burrata special was the best bite. Great flavor and corn and pesto added a great level of texture and flavor. Wedge salad was also very good. Tuna tartare was a little bland. Fettuccine also a little bland. Linguine was ok but dry. Burger was just ok. Sole special was good but fish was a little overcooked and too delicate to be deep fried.

I've been coming to Centro at least since it opened more than 10 or 15 years ago. They have the best dishes. The food is fantastic. The staff offers the best customer service. You can sit inside or outside, which is so pleasant. My family and friends love having lunch or dinner here any time!! It is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and I've lived all over the country and traveled Europe. Centro is one of our favorites!
