Caring ownership, great systems for taking orders, tasty food. Solid coffee options. Personality shines throughout. No wonder they’ve been in business for 30 years.

Stopped by today with my kids and had an awesome experience. The place was packed and our food arrived promptly and hot! I had the GOAT on a sesame bagel — absolutely delicious. My kids got the rainbow bagels and couldn’t stop talking about them. Best bagels ever. Crunchy on the outside and soft, airy and chewy on the inside.

I also grabbed a chicken noodle soup to-go for dinner and it was fantastic — rich, flavorful, and super comforting.

Great spot all around — we’ll definitely be back!!

I just got a cup of chicken noodle soup and within my first couple spoon fulls I pulled out 3 small bones and one large bone. They issued me a refund which was nice but said “sometimes because they have fresh chicken in the soup there is the possibilities of bones being in it”. Just be aware that you may find some bones in your chicken noodle I guess!

I went in and asked for them to make a wrap for me without mayonnaise. The cashier said she needed to ask the kitchen. I’m sorry, no. I’m not going to eat somewhere where I have to be granted permission to have my food prepared the way I want it. The answer should have been: “yes.” I walked out hungry and disappointed and slightly annoyed.

I have lived in Fairfield for over ten years. Chef’s Table used to be a really great spot, but my recent food there has only been okay. Chicken was dry in sandwiches and wraps. Panini tasted like fridge. Making this review because I hope they will be able to turn it around.

Was in the area and this place looked awesome. Kinda disappointed. The service was great, and the atmosphere is fun, but food and drink were sadly mediocre.

When I first got my iced latte I swore it tasted like chocolate, I thought they might have put mocha by accident. At the risk of sounding crazy, I mentioned it and they were kind enough to remake it for me. Same thing the second time though - since it’s not mocha, must be something off with the espresso, it’s a weird burnt taste.

Ordered an egg sandwich on a toasted bagel…def not toasted. Chewy bagel, but a fresh bagel and at least warm so it could’ve been worse. I know it’s busy but an extra 60 seconds on the grill/in the toaster would have made a huge difference.

I saw a review mention how good the banana bread is so I got a piece…I feel bad, but it was just oily. Bland… I don’t want to give 3 stars because they really were nice and it’s a cool spot, maybe I didn’t get the things they do best or at the right time, but the name Chef’s Table had me thinking big things were happening with the food and…they just…weren’t, unfortunately :(

Fun, hip casual atmosphere with a rock and roll theme and a friendly crew. Varied menu, quick service, limited seating but also quite popular for takeout. I saw that a lot of people had ordered online and did a quick pickup.

I am gluten free and I am disappointed that chefs table doesn’t make anything gluten free after 1:45. I feel like this is not right especially when they close at 8pm. A different time when I came, they were sold out of gluten free bagels at 10:30am so this was the second time I was unable to order food at chefs table. I was again extremely disappointed by this.

Just stopped for coffee which was very good. Big selection of specialties, prepared lunches, pastry. Parking is very tight.

Usually live chefs table but had a really bad experience recently. Ordered a wrap online for pickup with several customizations due to dietary restrictions. Received the order and was bringing it home before I read a note saying they were unable to accommodate the customizations. Too late to turn back, I was left unable to eat my meal that I paid for. Really would have appreciated a phone call in regard to the order so that I would have the option to cancel. Really disappointing.

The sign says Fine Food Fast; however, I ordered an omelette without home fries and I waited almost over 30 minutes while there was 3 people in the place that were already eating and almost done with their food. I saw the chef talking with the staff and moving very very slow to get my order down. Two of my friends said the very exact thing and they too won’t go back.
