The owner here is unbelievably rude. She berates and yells at her workers constantly in front of her customers. Not only is this unprofessional and wrong, but her poor attitude takes away a lot of what this place could be. Do not go here.

Love their egg sandwiches prepared by the meanest person in Fairfield County- it's a big county but she wins out over all entrants. ( She hates me for I am exceptional nice to her).

Kid-friendliness: I have been this place a couple time the first time the lady was so rude with the kids. Yesterday I was in a rush and I stop by I want to give this place a new chance so ordered a chicken sandwich I was starving and actually this was the only thing I ate yesterday because I got a poisoning food after that. I think I am done of this place

So this might be a local favorite and might have been a glitch in the matrix, but here’s my first impression when I walked in today:Tiny cozy place that sits three or four couples in a small square room including an open kitchen.Everyone looks at you when you walk in and that’s ok but what’s not is that no one says hello or welcome or how can we help you.The two nice looking ladies who worked there walked by us several times within one foot away and didn’t say a word or a greeting. After about ten minutes standing watching them serve food in paper plates with no gloves I felt like I was in a strange cult. Before I let myself think something was wrong with me I turned around and walked out. (My employee was with me and had the same strange feeling)Totally not being picky and looking for a spot to grab a sandwich or some lunch - couldn’t find a friendly face or food here and wanted to spare people an awkward moment. -went to Sammy’s across the street for the right feel and nice folks

I'm giving a 5 star review for the amazing disrespect the owner has for her staff and patrons. It's time for the old biddy to hang up her apron and pass along this cute little coffee shop to someone who can make delicious and creative breakfasts in less than half an hour. Every thing you've read about the owner berating her employees is 100% spot on. Her attitude is abysmal, her appearance is far from professional and her food handling skills are sub par. (Using her bare fingers to plate food.) Last I checked we are in the middle of pandemic and she was not following Serve Safe protocol one bit. We will not be returning for a 30 dollar breakfast served on paper plates with piss poor coffee. If you enjoy your breakfast with a side of agro, run don't walk to this gem in Southport Village.
