Great experience. Book month ahead for valentines and reservation went smooth . Arrived 20 minutes early and they was able to get us accommodated on time . Service was friendly and on point . Food price vs portion size wasn't the best but the experience made up for it and definitely get the pita bread w hummus 10/10

This restaurant was a participant in Fairfield Restaurant Week which ended on 12/9. We went on 12/9 and were told that they ended restaurant week on 12/8. This information was not included on line. They would not honor the date. I find this unconscionable since this is an expensive restaurant. Our waitress seemed unconcerned and would not honor the date. She claimed this was because they were running out of food on the Restaurant Week menu.

I will add the loudness of the music throughout the restaurant both at the bar and it was tough to hear conversations at the table.

Great food and typically great service but last night we were a party of 6 and all but one of us had our meals. We waited 10 min for the 6th person to get their meal and they had no explanation or offered nothing to rectify the fact that everyone's food was cold. A little disappointed but we still had a great time. I will say that the original reservation was for 4 but they were able to accommodate 2 more.

The waitstaff felt rushed and uninterested in helping us navigate the menu. Very slow as well, took so long for our waitress to take orders/smooth transitions.. The food was alright but nothing to write home about. The manager is not that nice either when an issue occurred. Would spend my time somewhere worth my time and something authentic.

We’ve been going to Esh since they opened but unfortunately have been disappointed the last few times. The flatbread and hummus is always excellent, however the main dish - the beef shawarma - is not up to par with how it was when they first opened. The beef shawarma used to be wagyu beef and was tender, juicy, and melted in your mouth, exactly how it has been at every other place I have had it. The last few times it has been chewy, dry, and bitty pieces of shawarma. It is disappointing because we absolutely love this restaurant and look forward to dining here, but this last year have been severely disappointed every time. I am sorry to say I will not be back until there is a quality change to the meat used for the beef shawarma.

Another outstanding meal at Esh. This time our group of 5 opted just to enjoy the Taboon flatbread and all of the mezze dips, followed by a lot of different starters and the delicious beet salad. We had so many flavorful dishes to share and enjoy, including three shared desserts (don't miss the Date Cake!). We were thrilled to see the Raventos I Blanc sparkling wine on the menu, the perfect glass for our festive evening. Every dish is incredibly flavorful, and unlike anything else in Fairfield County. A truly special restaurant.

We had an excellent experience! The flatbread and tzatziki were absolutely amazing, I could've eaten them all night long. The food overall was fantastic, and the service was just as great. The only downside was that the drinks were a little off, but even that didn't take away from the overall experience. All in all, a great spot and definitely worth a visit!

We went there early in the evening (around 4pm) and it was fairly empty, but you can tell the restaurant is very popular as it got busy as we were leaving around 5:30. Food is fantastic, easily sharable, the service was very knowledgeable and attentive.
