Waited 30 mins for a sandwich because they forgot to make the order. Good food and kind cashiers but gets messy during lunch rush.

Firehouse deli is a far cry from what it used to be. There is no consistency anymore, and the meager amounts of food they put in their sandwiches are not worth the inflated prices.

Ordered a sandwich from uber eats and it was inedible. Dry, stuck to a plate and shoved in a bag, turkey was hard, a few crumbs of Cole slaw. So disappointing.

This place was one of thee worst sandwich spots I have ever been to. I have gotten ripped off in other places, but this one takes the cake. Let me start by saying that the atmosphere in the Fairfield Connecticut firehouse subs was extremely uncomfortable. I went in with my kids and husband and everyone looked at me like I was from another planet. The staff was rude and not great at helping with the choice making while also being rushed to hurry up and make our order. I ordered the Italian sub. There was no Italian on it. It has two slices of salami, three sweet peppers, old lettuce, one slice of tomato and barely any mayo. I asked for it not to be pressed and it was still pressed. I paid over 90 dollars for sandwiches that had nothing in them. I should mention that the median home in this neighborhood is over a million, and I guess that rich privilege people can be fed anything and charge whatever for it. I pay anything for good food. I was always told not to be cheap when it comes to feeding yourself and your family but this place was absolutely disrespectful. I don’t have to be rich to know quality. This place is not quality. They should be out of business for the type of food they served us. Location is horrible, atmosphere is not pleasant and the staff does not respect patronage for the way they treat the customer or the way they serve their food. Absolutely disgusting. Visitors to Fairfield Connecticut beware. But especially if you decide to go to firehouse subs in this area. Someone please help these rich people out. They do not know what good eats are. At least not in this subs restaurant. I wanted to give it no star. But you have to get at least one. I really don’t know what the one star would be for. But my kids did see fireworks at a nearby beach. I gave my food to my dogs. I wish I would have taken a picture of it so everyone knows what they are about. Go somewhere else. Not here.

Ordered a BLT and it was disgusting. Bread was soggy, not enough mayo, tomatoes cut too thick, way too much lettuce The staff was very friendly but the food is not worth the trip. I'm sad to say I Won't be back.

Over the phone service was terrible. She was rude and impatient. She hung up on me before I could get a price. I called back to let management know why I left the conversation feeling uneasy and unhappy with service over the phone and cancelled the small order of chicken tenders. He was better, at least he said sorry have a good day before hanging up. Lol. The point is he didn’t offer any resolve and when you WORK for your money it’s always better to spend it at establishments that value your time, money and most importantly you as the customer they are serving. Obviously I can buy chicken tenders anywhere but if you are working in the service industry you should have some basic level of kindness while you are getting paid for the service . This was my second time here and I’m PROUDLY going to Hole in The Wall down the street!
