I stopped by here on Sunday for lunch with a friend. Beautiful location. As we were sitting at a hightop table in the bar area, I looked over at our waitress. she sneezed in her hands. She then reached into the napkin holder on the bar, wiped her hands with a napkin, and then proceeded to add lemons to our drinks. It was absolutely disgusting, and quite honestly, we should have walked out. I felt like my friend did not want to make a scene. We stayed and then ordered a cocktail. My friend called to complain today… only to find out that the waitress was actually a Manager. I can’t imagine what goes on behind the scenes when this is happening right in front of the customers. Absolutely disgusting! whomever my friend spoke with today, we were offered a small gift certificate. I have absolutely no desire to go back.

Very disappointing. Mac n cheese was straight out of a box. Salad was pathetic, soggy and insufficient for an adult lunch portion. This place has really gone down from what I recall a few years ago.

We stopped here after we finished setting up our daughter for her junior year at Fairfield University. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, our daughter had just a plain burger and my wife had a grilled chicken sandwich all were average, but the regular fries were below average and seemed to be broken reheated leftovers. If I was 20 I’m sure I would of been just fine with it , but if your in a hurry service is good and it’s s fun atmosphere.. BTW sweet potato fries were a better option then the regular ones.

Great restaurant. Super friendly staff. All of meals were delicious. Very dog friendly. Staff brought out water for our dog (dogs allowed on patio) with our waters. They also have a special menu for dogs that includes milkbones, chopped up hamburger and hot dogs. Will definitely stop by next time in area.

I’ve been frequenting Flipside for years and have always been pleased with the food. Burgers are so delicious and the Rueben too!!! The staff has really made me feel welcome and I’ve become a “regular” and wanted to show my love for the staff and food! Special shout outs to Chris, Jess and Sophie for always doing a great job with smiles on their faces!!
