This is a hidden gem in Fairfield for a wide selection of freshly made foods, custom sandwiches, take out, and ordering for events. Great selection, always fresh and their chicken soup made from scratch is the best.
Fred’s is an absolute gem of a place to get a variety of great takeaway foods. The broccoli salad is crazy good as is the macaroni salad, chicken francaise, dumplings, and many of the soups. I’m not a big desert person, but their key lime pie is stellar. As a bonus, everyone who works there is so friendly.
Such a boon for my young family and I. Cannot go wrong with the turkey chili. The mashed potatoes are lights out and we brought them to our Easter gathering. Usually there once a week. Cookies are really nice too. Having the turkey dinner be an option as well is really fun too.
