This was our first time dining a Il Pellicano but we will defiinately be going back!! The food and service were top notch. We have nothing negative to say about our experience here. It was fantastic!

We had a party of 10 and they really took care of us. Very good service, great food and ambiance.

As usual...outstanding and friendly service and a delicious meal. Our go to spot for any event in downtown Fairfield.

Went there last night. Was the worst Italian meal I ever had.
Had clams casino to start. Served cold topped with a pinch of unseasoned bread crumbs and raw bacon and a sliver of roasted pepper.
This appetizer never got close to the oven.
Then we had cacio e paper. Awful!!!
Instead of tossing the butter with the cooked pasta the butter was melted in a pan which was burnt then poured on top of the pasta. Result, an awful brown sauce. Never seen anything like it!
Would never recommend.
Save your money.

You may have been born in Rome but what was passed off as cacio e pepe was no Roman dish.
Never had cacio e pape with brown sauce.
3 ingredient dish screwed up!
Only thing it could have been was burnt butter

Delicious food, beautifully plated. Attentive waitstaff. Lovely interior. Pricier than expected since the regular lunch/brunch menu was replaced with a selection for Mother's Day.

Another wonderful meal. These guys know how a great restaurant is run. From the initial point of contact at the door to the moment you leave. Hugs for everybody lol. Food is some of the best around. Amazing friendly staff. Salute.

$15 for an oil flight with only 4 pieces of bread is an insult— the food was good but for the price they charge— you are better going elsewhere. Best of luck

Do you know when you arrive somewhere and you feel you aren't welcome? That's how the host made my friend and me feel when we arrived for an earlier dinner, no welcome at all. We still decided to stay and try the food that in my opinion is overpriced for the taste. My star goes to the waiters who were nice and the olive oil sample was delicious. I wouldn't come back though.

Food was OK and expensive considering the flavor profile of the meal. Service was friendly and attentive.

Good food and nice atmosphere.

Best restaurant in the area. The food is amazing every time, the cocktail menu is on par with what you'd find at a cocktail bar in NYC, the ambiance is great, and the prices are incredibly fair.
