First visit, great meal. Had the Ziti Bolognese; Pasta al dente, very meaty sauce, dood portion.
Large Menu and selection of assorted Italian products. Fast, friendly service.
Parking may be an issue but more spaces in rear of building.
Had a great Roast Beef Sandwich today, but real treat was the traditional Carbonara without the usual American additions.
Eggs, Pecorino, Black Pepper, Pasta water, Guanciale and good timing is the recipe.
Pizza class going on while I was eating just added more to the ambience.

We walked in thinking we were going to grab to go and there were tables for us to sit at. Food was excellent we had chicken parm, ravioli, ans pizza. The chicken parm was top notch and the ravioli and pizza were good too! We got the meat lover and while it was good we wished we had tried something more simple the first time to better taste the dough, cheese and sauce.

A fantastic 40th birthday pizza making party and celebration for both our daughter and son-in-law in September. Dominick was an amazing and fun instructor; and was a special part of our family celebration for the evening. Everything was delicious. It was also terrific to meet Maria and Dominick Sr. This is a warm and wonderful family business. Italian Kitchen is truly a one of a kind gem!

Italian Kitchen is too damn good!!! I ordered their Family Meal for dinner last night. As always, the food was outstanding. The service was incredible, too!! They insisted on bringing the food out to my car ❤️ 5 of us ate & there were enough leftovers for lunch today. Thanks for another delicious dinner!!

Deli & catering by day; full Italian restaurant on Saturday night. I’ll make it short & sweet: BYOB and best Italian food outside of the Bronx. Pay one price set menu- eat until you almost explode.

We did the pizza making class here with my company and had the best time! Dominick was awesome—super fun, engaging, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. The food turned out delicious, and we loved that it was BYOB. Such a great team activity. Highly recommend!

Italian kitchen
So it started out as an invitation to a birthday dinner at an Italian restaurant,
So I show up at 6 pm , the place looks more like a old world Italian deli, so the tables are nicely set , there is dipping olive oil with some great bread, the oil has a slight peppery taste, like all great olive oils, so then came the Ceasar salad and a salad with apples and balsamic dressing, both to die for, there was also a tasty Italian cauliflower , carrot salad,
Then Dominic come out and says we are going to learn how to make mozzarella, there are all these metal bowls filled with curds , wooden spoons, aprons , and hot water, so Dominic explained the history, chemistry, and how to make a ball of mozzarella with wit and finesse, then we sat down to our table and wines , did I mention it is BYOB , a big money saver, we were served an antipasto dish, which included our mozzarella, then we were served meatballs + pasta, shrimp + pasta, lastly chicken + pasta , these pasta combinations were everything you expect from a fine Italian restaurant, for dessert we received some warm Zeppoli’s, a perfect ending to a great meal ! This place truely brings the Auther Avenue culture to Fairfield, CT.
In conclusion, they have two other cooking classes: pizza class and a Sunday sauce class, you can go there just for dinner, lunch, or take out
