Went here for a wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was good. Went at a perfect time before a rush. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We had their famous meatballs on their special menu for the day as an appetizer. May I say the meatballs are amazing and BIG. They were delicious. To drink we had wine from a great selection. For dinner we had the house made ricotta gnocchi in meat sauce and the rigatoni ala vodka. It was great portions and the food was delicious. The prices are good for the amount of food and the quality. We will definitely be back.

First time at this restaurant. The food was really good but the service was not. They said they were out of meatballs and the suppli, but we saw meatballs being served to all of the tables around us. They also told us the only dessert available was lemon lava cake but as we walked out we saw chocolate cake being served. They clearly saved the food for people they knew/liked. They very likely lost us as customers because of this favoritism.

Our group of four had a terrific meal. To start we had the rollatini (sp?) and the special mushroom and goat cheese crostini and the Asiago cheese pasta. All were really good. Entrees were special short rib and mushroom ragu, special chicken piccata and branzino. Again, everyone was very happy. We brought our own bottle of old Barolo and were charged a very fair $25 corkage. Super friendly service.

So happy Joanne didn't let this neighborhood gem close. Formerly Liana's -- Joanne and her team have done a stellar job carrying on the traditions, preparing some of the best Italian food in Fairfield County. The Paccheri and meatballs are worth traveling for. Much success, can't wait to return!

If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine served Italian style in a small, comfortable, accommodating place by a wonderful mom and daughter this is your place! Arrive hungry and leave with a hug !
I’m sorry but this does not live up to the hype. It’s just a plain restaurant and it smelled like weed when we got there. They dress unprofessionally and our waitress had a ZYN bobbing up and down her lip while she was talking. There’s a select menu so my only chicken option was chicken parm. It had no sauce and a sliver of mozzarella with grated cheese on top. Deep fried in old smelly oil. The linguini was dried out and crusty -oil and garlic based- just awful. My friend had gnocchi with Gorgonzola which literally was so overcooked it melted when she cut it and the sauce tasted like just plain heavy cream. Literally the worst restaurant in Fairfield. Chicken parm was $35!!!! Most expensive too. Don’t go

First time here , very friendly service . It was a bit cold inside but I think they had just opened. Our server was great very friendly and helpful. Try the basil martini!! The roasted Brussels were delicious. Clams and linguini we orders red and white both were delicious. We will be back . Nice small intimate place but could handle a large group with reservations no problem. Nice find

We celebrated my birthday last night at Joanne's Table. They must have known I was coming because the special of the night was soft-shell crab. My friend and I ordered it. It was probably one of the best soft-shell crabs I have ever eaten. It was lemony and served with homemade angel hair pasta and spinach. Fabulous! We also had the special of the night salad which again was remarkable: Arugula, grilled artichoke, and grilled portabella mushroom with a little goat cheese and home made italian dressing. We are still talking about it! The boys had Branzino which was very good and my husband had the biggest meatballs I have ever seen! They shared a ceasar salad which was good too! Joanne was the hostess, the bartender and waitress. She was so welcoming and made the best martinis! We will definitely go back!
