Beautiful location, food was very good, service was terrible. Words like disengaged, disinterested, and inattentive come to mind. When we first sat down we waited so long for a server to bring us menus that my wife got up and got them herself. All of the staff seemed friendly and helpful once we got their attention, but you had to flag someone down to even get a coffee refill. This in spite of the fact that the restaurant was largely empty on a Friday night. This place needs a solid manager to get the most out of it.

Since it was my first time going to this place, I just ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich, but I'm wondering if it wasn't that tasty. The contents were also very poor.It shines...

This is a diner on campus but has very poor service. I came in to be seated and was ignored. When asked if I seat myself, I was told I was on the phone so he can’t interrupt me. After being seated and asked a question about an entree, the waiter interrupted and told me he couldn’t choose for me and that he would return when I made up my mind. I literally had a question about a wrap and he dismissed me … and even when I complained, my complaint was dismissed. Very disappointed. Leave this establishment for college kids to enjoy.

What a cute find! My avocado toast with scrambled eggs was perfect as my first meal after my procedure at a nearby ambulatory surgery facility. The menu offers a variety of items for breakfast and larger meals at budget-friendly prices. Go check them out! It’s open to the public. When you arrive at the gate, just let the security person know you are there for the diner.

Food is fine and is one of the better places on campus. Aesthetically, the place looks as great on the inside as on the outside; it's one of the nicest looking spots on campus. Service can take a significant amount of times during the busier times of the semester (such as the final couple of weeks.) Overall, a good experience.

I went here for lunch today. The food and service were great. It was nice coming back as a SHU alum and getting to see all the changes on campus.

Great food, nice staff, good atmosphere. I go there when I visit my sister, who goes to school at Sacred Heart University. I'd highly recommend JP's to anyone.Vegetarian options: They have salads, & you can order them with or without chicken, assuming that your chosen salad normally comes with chicken. The staff are extremely flexible, as far as meal customization goes. They also have veggie burgers. You can add or remove toppings from your order as you want.Parking: You can park next to JP's, & I remember being able to park across the roadway.Wheelchair accessibility: They don't have stairs. It's all one floor.

Busy but accommodating Diner.More variety than I would have expected in a campus diner. Everyone's meal was good. Sweet potato fries were especially good.
