I order Lilac House food delivered quite often. The food is delicious and the portions are huge. The flavors are authentic and dishes perfectly prepared. Just had some shrimp in lettuce cups. Outstanding! All the dumplings are great and the shrimp with mushrooms is off the charts. Quite a luxury to have this quality of food delivered to your door.
We visited early, just after the opening, still the service was good and the waitress was polite and friendly. The vegetarian options in sushi and dumplings were excellent. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable experience.
A friend of ours invited us to a pot-luck celebration of the Lunar New Year this afternoon. She had arranged with the restaurant for us to have a reserved space where we could share food ordered by each couple. It was a bit like ordering a take-out, with the food being delivered to a common table, for all to sample. Great idea.
