Stopped there on our way home. We are from out of town. Went in, super friendly greeting. Ordered our food,it was really good and hot. Asked the man at the counter to please give us forks and knives as we were taking it back to our hotel room we had everything we needed. The food was great. We were super tired and getting such a warm greeting and fast service was so much appreciated. Thanks ?

Craving a slice to-go I ended up satisfied by was unsure until the end. If you're looking for something considered standard fare in a place like New Haven or Manhattan, you won't find it here. Nonetheless, their pie is enjoyable with a tangy sauce, a crust with a crunch, and a smaller-than-typical to-go pie slice along with an atypical clearly reduced quantity of mozzarella. In other words, they don't hide these facts, yet it works well. Just not what I was naturally expecting just west of New Haven. Back in the area again? Maybe.

This is my favorite pizza in the world. Such a perfect level of thin crust and delicious sauce & cheese. Also, incredibly reasonable prices on ALL the food and definitely the wine & beer as well. You can't really find that at any other place in the area at all.Forget the mass produced soggy nonsense from wooster square, everything is so fresh here, and has been consistently amazing since I was a little kid coming to Pizza Palace. The new breakfast menu is also so delicious and exciting.The Fried Calamari (and shrimp) are freshly battered for each order, and is definitely the most tender fried seafood you will find in the area. Great & fresh portions all around!Overall, I love and truly recommend Pizza Palace. The servers and owner are all amazing and sweet, unlike the vibes of most every other place in Fairfield County.
