I began eating Rawley's hot dogs when I was in high school more than 50 years ago. There were many great places for hot dogs in and around Bridgeport back in the 70s. There was Tomlinson's (The Greek's), Merritt Canteen, Valley Farms and several others. But the best of these was always Rawley's. I left Connecticut in the late 70s and didn't return for nearly 45 years, so I didn't know what to expect from my old haunts. I knew Rawley's had undergone a change in ownership, so I went back there with some trepidation. I needn't have worried. It's as good as it ever was.
Best hot dogs in CT. Been going there since I was a little kid, I'm in my late 50's now. My father enjoyed it for over 70 years. You can sign ur name on the wall. Lots of history to the place. Highly recommend trying it. You won't be sad if you try it!!!!

Regardless of the popularity or legends about Rawley's they maintain the drive-in mom and pop feel. Counter order, freshly made classic drive-in food. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries and more. All absolutely delicious.
