SHUMI REVOLVING SUSHI

My partner and I both agreed that Shumi was hands-down the best sushi we’ve ever had. Everything is incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is very homey and cozy, and the staff were all very kind and helpful. This restaurant is worth going out of your way for.

My daughter has been begging me to go. After weeks of waiting we went. We were greeted right away by the man at the front and shown to a seat, there were three other people at one table in the restaurant. Our drink orders were taken and we were told soda was included in the price, only we were later charged for the Japanese soda: $3.50.
The selection of sushi, sashimi, dumplings, seaweed salad, and shellfish was decent and ordering off the menu is included in the price. The selection was very good.
Why only two stars?
Service was slow. I had to get up to get more water and napkins. I had to ask for a soy sauce dish (although my daughter was given one). All the food had multiple sauces on it. The soy sauce was sweetened. The bathroom was dirty, which makes me wonder about the kitchen. And the biggest reason, despite only have sashimi myself, I was incredible thirsty that night and the following day. I stopped using the soy after a few bites because it was sweat. The low quality of the food was such a disappointment. I guess expecting decent quality food from an all you can eat is the problem. I only ate a normal portion btw, so I paid a lot of money for junky food. I won’t be back!

A very good spot to go solo or in a group. Very creative style and wonderful food .. I would go every day for lunch if I worked closer or had more time for lunch..

We really liked this place! The variety on the conveyor belt and on the menu was great
The sashimi pieces were thick and fresh. The rolls were delicious. The server was so sweet. I accidentally spilled water on myself and he was so sweet getting me lots of extra napkins and apologized when it was clearly my fault. 10/10 would eat there again. It's worth the money.

Where do I even begin. This place is just flat out phenomenal! I have came here multiple times and will always come back. The price and atmosphere along with the sensational food, Shumi is just outstanding. The all you can eat sushi is perfect for anyone and everyone! For one single price, you can order any rolls you would like along with choosing any dish from the belt! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I stopped by yesterday to have a good time and eat our favorite meal which is sushi! the sushi were delicious, the fish is very soft and fresh. We loved The taste of the food ! Unfortunately, the service didn’t meet our expectations, it was quite slow, and we had to wait a long time for our food, it took much longer than anticipated. We experienced delays with our order, and the service was not as attentive as we would have liked.

In addition to the slow service and long wait for the food, the check was brought to the table before we asked for it, which felt a bit rushed and unprofessional!

We might give then another chance because the food is great! But I hope we have a different service next time !

I would not dine there ever again. The reviews on Google are fake and lies. First of all, it’s $39.99 per person for all you can eat but you really have to order from the server if you want the real sushi. Second, the sushi are not fresh. The fish has some strange taste to them. I ate at many sushi restaurants before and I never tasted anything like this. Some of the fish taste cold like just out from the fridge without proper thawing. Lastly, we all had diarrhea that night because of the raw fish.

Very good place, sushi comes always fresh as you see it being prepared. Very tasty and in the AYCE price (Saturday $39.99) desert and soda included.
