I am a pescatarian Any review given regarding Meat Products are gauged by the aroma, the presentation and how I Hear my guests respond when tasting, right after the first or second bite. That being said well, I had a veg burger at this establishment and it was absolutely delicious! I certainly couldn't have had a second "burger" even if I tried. It was huge, piled with lettuce tomato cheese pickles onion what?! So good. Recently I started to order fries with a burger, and I certainly was not disappointed! I visited the spot in Fairfield, the team was friendly and quick to respond to any requests or questions. What a treat! Not sure if I've ever visited a hot dog venue that has ever been as sanitized, organized and space appropriate as this one was! Thank you

The service was fast but the hot dog was lukewarm at best. Roll was soggy too. Got the dog to go then drove across the street to eat it, and pricey! Plain dog $5.37 with tax. Ouch. Next trip it's Duchess with its 2for $5 special and hot food.

It’s unbelievable how disappointed I am with the food and service here.I saw Super Duper Weenie featured on an episode of Diner Drive-inns and Dives, being that Triple D is one of my favorite shows and I recently relocated to Bridgeport CT, my wife and I were excited to actually try food from a place that Guy Promoted. Here’s my list of reasons why I will NEVER go back again:#1 they didn’t open on time!#2 the customer service was horrible, I was literally disrespected to my face for placing my order “Crazy Early” which was then followed by a scoff. Unbelievable!!#3 the hot dogs where flavorless, mind you we ordered 3 different dogs and a spicy sausage which was also flavorless (only good for the heat from the pepper inside) everything was so bland!!!#4 although the French fries appeared to be “fresh cut”, they were crunchy like chips and taste like dirt. As I chewed them I was shocked to have a grainy sand texture in my mouth ?.#5 we ordered a Vanilla milkshake that ALSO lacked in flavor. It was like drinking a watered down none flavored icy milk water thing. Good thing I had vanilla, cream, and powered sugar at home because It needed EMERGENCY DOCTORING.#6 we spent a lot of money that I could have just purchased a pack of Nathan’s hotdogs and made my own with a much better result.I honestly wish I hadn’t paid for the meal because I didn’t need to spend my money for such a bad experience. Now to be clear, I’m not blaming Triple D and I also want to acknowledge that it’s been a while since Guy visited and maybe Super Duper Weenie fell wayyyyyyyyy off. But, if I only had a problem with the food then that would be one thing. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience in general. So much for being excited about restaurants featured on Triple D.I think will stick to the most recent locations featured on the show.

Top frankfurter spot in the area. A humble food produced with thought. High calibre.

Menu featuring the best regional hot dogs. The rest of the menu (tuna melt, veggie burger, sausage onion peppers, hamburger, cheesesteak on Kaiser roll, are all excellent as well. Picnic style indoor seating. 10% of the time I've been the cheese grater is too thick or something minor like that. But otherwise an outstanding hot dog destination.

Visited SDW last week for lunch with a chef pal who has several restaurants overseas. When he is Stateside, he always searches for staple foods done right. Gary and the crew delivered on all fronts. My go-to is the New Englander, and it never disappoints. My buddy had the Chicagoan and loved it. We both got a burger as well, which was cooked perfectly and impressively juicy. We were both taken aback by the hand-cut fries with S&P. We commented on how hard it is to consistently turn out such high-quality, short-order potatoes, and Gary gave us a detailed rundown of their process. After a lengthy discussion, including the merits of whole-belly clams vs. strips, Gary even gave us an order of hand-battered onion rings to try, which were also stellar. Super Duper is the real deal, from the menu to the people!
