I came around lunch time. Girl in the bright pink hair was the hostess at the time, she was hiding in the corner sipping her drink at the bar. Waited for about 5 minutes or so until someone from the kitchen said something. She wasn’t welcoming. Asked what the vegetables were she said she didn’t know which is fine, but didn’t offer to ask…had such an attitude! Didn’t expect her to be bubbly, but could’ve been at least neutral. The gentleman Gilberto I believe his name was, correct me if I’m wrong, took over and the service was much better. The desserts were amazing, I would recommend ordering desserts which I usually don’t, but here I would. We came with a good mood and ended in a good mood thanks to him. She definitely needs a bit of training. She was pleasant towards the end.

My wife and I enjoy Spanish cuisine but have been searching for an alternative to the major chain that operates in Fairfield county. We found it with Tablao !
Tablao was a pleasant surprise. We started with Tapas (of course !). We had 3 tapas - shrimp garlic and diced tomato, grilled flank steak (thinly sliced with Spanish olive oil, and spices) , and grilled Calamari. All 3 were excellent, and served with (really good) crusty bread and olive oil for dipping, Our main course was their classic Paella (mix of meats and seafood) – spiced perfectly. There are happy hour and mid-week specials that can keep the pricing low beyond the quality of the food and friendly service.

Used to come to this place years ago and was almost a regular on weekends...it's a whole different place now and it's run by people that can barely speak English and are definitely not as friendly and sociable as when i used to go back in the day. South Bay across the parking lot is exactly the same, no one speaks English and their prices are ridiculous for light domestic beer. Definitely a "last resort" type of spot to go to when there's nothing else going on during a nite out. What happened to this little area?? it used to be a lively popping place, now it's being taken over by "eh emm" yea people that don't originate here.

My friend and I enjoyed a perfectly-priced Tapas Tuesday ($20 pp for any two tapas), one of many daily specials Tablao offers. As a gluten/lactose intolerant and vegetarian pair, we were thrilled by the numerous tapas options. If you have dietary restrictions, you know it’s rare to find a restaurant that offers a nice variety of gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options, and Tablao does not disappoint. Our server was knowledgeable about ingredients and cooking methods, so I felt confident and safe ordering here. I had the Tortilla Española and the Hanger Steak (gf and df) and my friend had the Bruscheta and Mozzarella-Stuffed Squash Blossoms (veg). We agreed everything tasted delicious, portions were perfectly sized, and the food was plated beautifully. I felt satiated after two tapas, but could have eaten one more to feel very full. Beyond tapas, the restaurant offers salads, plenty of entries, five types of paella, and several house-made desserts (even a few gf options). Additionally, the service was exceptional. Don’t hesitate to check out this fabulous addition to the Fairfield dining scene!

The food wasn’t good. They should change the chef. It’s not a cuisine from Spain.

Probably the best seafood paella I’ve ever had in the US. This is coming from someone with strong family ties in Valencia and Alicante Spain. The service was great (Luis), the food was excellent. We will be back.

Unfortunately, the food is not to the standard of what a decent Mediterranean or Spanish restaurant would serve. Gambas al ajillo is just one tapa that would NOT qualify as a true al ajillo dish, which would mean: shrimp cloaked in garlic-infused olive oil with smoked paprika and a hint of sherry. What was served doesn't even come close. The shrimp was flavorless and metallic. The croquettes of cod were very greasy with a crispy greasy crust and lacked fresh fish flavor. The atmosphere at Tablo Fairfield can feel a bit depressing since the restaurant and bar are always empty.

Tablao Win Bar & Restaurant is a restaurant that you need to visit when in Fairfield, CT! Everything about our experience was fabulous! Our server was so friendly and accommodating! He explained the items, made wonderful recommendations! We had the Thursday Paella spec, 2 tappas, choice of Paella, we got the seafood Paella, and dessert! Everything was delicious! The chef even came out to check on how everything was. They have specials all the time, one being a bottle of wine 50% off on Wednesday! They even have entertainment! We will definitely go back when in Fairfield!
