Excellent value for money, very authentic Nepalese cuisine and super attentive service. We were given great recommendations and even complimentary papadam. The momo were filled with tasty chicken and accompanied by two sauces that combined perfectly. The goat was succulent (they warn you this one comes with bones) and very spicy as we wanted it. A great experience that can be also taken away.

Had excellent takeout boneless chicken tikka, vegetable steamed momo (dumplings) and jhaneko dal. Peshwari naan was out of this world -- tender with a nice chew and beautiful aroma, stuffed with raisin and cherry.

I first had Nepalese food when abroad last year. Never thought I'd find something so authentic here in Fairfield. The Jhaneko Dal was savory with distinctive texture. The Chicken Saagwala featured full chunks of tasty chicken and finely spiced spinach. If you're used to Indian cuisine and would like an interesting variation, try Taste of Everest! Dave

My best friend and I came to this restaurant for the first time, this evening. First of all, I want to thank Bhanu Oli and his staff for their hospitality and warm welcome. Our dinner included the Everest Pickled Mushrooms which were amazing. Once we bit into the first bite our tastebuds had a burst of happiness- they are flavorful and just plain delicious! If you like mushrooms you will definitely love this dish. We both had the Mix Vegetable Tarkari( Nepali Style- Vegan), Khyber Parantha, the sweet and mango lassi and Moong Dal Halwa for dessert. Delicious and perfectly balanced food! Taste of Everest has a very nice, relaxed atmosphere, wonderful food and exceptionally warm service. We enjoyed everything, that we even bought a gift certificate, to give to another friend and we will definitely be going back. You definitely need to give Taste of Everest a try- you will not be disappointed.

Taste of Everest is a real treat! The Nepali Thali was a highlight, an amazing mix of different dishes that gave me a great taste of Nepali cuisine. The Chicken Steam Momos were fantastic, too, with a perfect blend of spices and a juicy filling. The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the service was warm and attentive. It's a fantastic spot for authentic Nepalese and Indian food. Can't wait to go back!
