Without a doubt the best Mexican food in the area and one of our favorite spots in town. Everything on the menu is good but highly recommend going with whatever the specials of the night are. Cocktails are also excellent (especially the margaritas).

We always go to restaurants throughout all of Fairfield and tonight we decided to go to your restaurant for the first time. (08/22/24 7:30pm)
As soon as we walked in we had eye contact with at least 4 individuals and not a single one of them even acknowledge us! After waiting a few second longer a female yells across the floor “ sit in any table!!” With an attitude. We were so thrown off by the situation that we decided to stick to our usual restaurants in Fairfield.
What a silly way to loose business!

After a very long day of travel, bad hotel check in issues and not eating, the first place we came across was the one getting our money. This place was near our terrible hotel experience. Walked in and was not sure if we sat ourselves or waited for a host, I asked one of the employees behind the bar. He just made a motion at the table nearest while giving us the rudest look ever. My 15 year old son says, this guys an A hole, I don’t want to eat here. Ended up at Archie Moore’s. Great service here!

Been coming here since right when they opened in 2017. We live nearby so it’s very convenient. Always good food but my meal last week really hit the spot. So fresh and beautifully prepared. And the Margarita’s are as good as ever. And it was lovely to see the place buzzing with a wide range of age groups all having a good time.

My fiancé and I are locals who love coming to Tequila Revolucion—we enjoy sharing this spot with our family and friends who visit us looking for great food and vibes.
Tequila Revolucion recently opened a cozy and cute bar in the covered patio and we finally made time on a Sunday evening to check it out.
Sadly, our experience was soured by a rude comment uttered by an employee while walking by us.
“Now’s not a good time to be sitting by the bar.”
I am unsure why this under-the-breath comment was made because another couple was already sitting at the bar. It is worth noting that the couple was older and caucasian while me, my fiancé, and our guest are younger and diverse.
It was very clear that the employee’s attitude changed when she saw the total on the check.
While we still plan on supporting this restaurant, we hope that other patrons do not experience discrimination or profiling based on age, race, gender, etc. by staff.

This was my first experience sitting in the restaurant and unfortunately it will be the last. The food was delicious. However the service we received was awful. The greeting wasn’t inviting and I just shook it off. We noticed that we were the only black people in the restaurant and didn’t receive any attention at all. We got our drinks and food then nothing. Everyone else around us had additional service, asked about food, more drinks or just basic conversation. However not us. I will probably get takeout but definitely not eat in. I always say it’s probably a bad day for the waitress or host - try to have a positive spin on everything. But unfortunately, I couldn’t. As we were leaving, then we were asked “how was everything” - not too good that’s why we are leaving. Again, good food but that is all.
