This is the new Testos in Monroe that I’m talking about It’s the old Roberto’s completely remodeled I’ll be honest I didn’t like the idea of the bar in the middle of the dinning room ! There’s no separation unfortunately we had three loud mouths at the bar but the service waiter Joe was outstanding and the food decent

Slow service, how long does it take to get a soda with no ice? Apparently it had to come from the crowded bar or something, took at least 5 minutes to get just drinks with no ice.

Table with 3 people, 2 of whom got chicken Parm and the third got lasagna. Chicken parm was decent, but the lasagna was barely edible. Tasted like store bought sauce with no seasoning. Same goes for the penne that came with the chicken Parm. Very bland taste.

Also, no refills on soda? We paid for a total of 4 sodas bc 2 of us both had 2.

Recommended dishes: Rigatoni Carbonara

Having lived in Italy and being a good cook myself, I rarely eat at Italian restaurants because I often find American Italian restaurants to be awful. This was an exception, however. The sauce was great as was the homemade stuffed Rigatoni- cooked al dente. I also enjoyed seeing the local community while sitting at the bar. I look forward to returning !
