Vespino Pizza Restaurant

Some of the low star reviews are soo petty ! The food is excellent and decent price, especially in the restaurant place. Yes prices have gone up , but so everywhere else. The food is excellent and 10% or whatever it went up , it is still reasonable. Had filet mignon which was cooked to perfection and the sides were excellent. I can't speak for the pizza because i never ordered from the pizza side of things. But the restaurant portion is excelent!

I used to visit the previous restaurant that was here a lot in college, so it was nice to return and see what Vespino has done with the space! Delicious NY style pizza and Italian entrees. The space is casual with a trendy flair that we enjoyed. The chocolate mousse was fantastic for dessert!

This place has the best pasta in Fairfield so authentic and good

I ordered here recently and will not be going back. They wanted to charge an additional two dollars for a substitute on a pizza. The pizza was barely hot and had very little flavor. I tried the pepperoni and bacon and they almost made me question whether or not it was real meat. Maybe the meat was frozen or maybe even the whole pizza was a pre-made frozen pizza because there was just zero taste. I definitely would NOT recommend going here for a good pizza. Insult to injury is them wanting to charge an additional two dollars for a topping substitute (mushrooms to cherry peppers). Highway robbery if you ask me.

What an awful, greedy establishment. I've never been so caught off guard. I had been going there for months and ordering the same meatball grinder with "extra meatball." I had to add the so-called extra because their regular grinder only includes two meatballs. Yes, two. They cut it in half so it seems like more, but it's really just two whole meatballs. Anyways, the price of my order increased significant today. Apparently, just their two-meatball grinder alone costs $15 now, whereas it used to cost much less. I was so caught off guard that I will never dine there again. The quality wasn't even great, and there is a better place down the street.

Ordered take out for dinner tonight to try this place for the first time and cannot wait to come back. Called in my order directly because I was hoping to make some substitutions and the staff was so helpful. The fettuccine shrimp is one of my favorite pasta I've had. The fried calamari is great too, but be warned the pomodoro sauce is indeed spicy!

The pizza is incredible! The crust is chewy, but still crisp, the sauce tastes like homemade and cheese isn't greasy, cooked perfectly. My husband devoured the chicken parmigiana with vodka sauce and my 2 year old loved the linguine that came with the chicken the 2 of them were fighting over it. Service was great, prices were good, will definitely be back.

Came here the other day for my birthday. The food was very delicious, fresh & light. My partner & I ate a lot but did not feel sluggish or bloated which is a plus. Love the mushroom pizza and gnocchi (with pesto sauce). Drinks are strong. Server was very nice, owner was extremely attentive.
