We have used Village Bagels Fairfield for years! Unfortunately yesterday we had a bad experience :( we ordered lunch on uber eats for our office and when opening the sandwich there was mold all over the bread. We called village bagels to let them know and the girl working said to call uber eats and there was nothing she could do to help me. This was not about the money or refund but about the health of other customers. This was very disappointing and we are saddened about the response we got when we called.

I was a little skeptical after having read some of the reviews, but some of the negative comments are accurate. The quality of the bagels is excellent, definitely up to NYC bagel standards. Service was fast and efficient. However, they screwed up both of the bagels we ordered. I ordered pastrami, egg, and cheese on a toasted bagel and got that less the cheese. I also ordered a French toast bagel with apple cream cheese and got it on a plain bagel instead. The place has potential if they can iron out their order accuracy issues. I'll go back, but it is annoying that I will have to check the accuracy of every order.

I don't think I've had a worse breakfast sandwich. It was so bad that it was intentional; this place does not care about quality. The bread was stale (employee recommended), the egg was non existent and then the muffin I bought was COLD. I would never sell either of these things to a customer, such low quality and zero care. I am surprised because I has been told that these are the same owners as Bar o Bagel, which despite some of it's rude employees & mistakes, puts a lot of care into product. You couldn't pay me to return to this place. I am really angry that my money was taken while they seriously knew what garbage they gave me. Items trashes, $11 after tip. You should be embarrassed

it honestly surprises me that this place isn’t rated higher!! the food is good & always enjoyable. the only slight negative is i’ve had a couple bagels that are a bit on the dryer side but with cream cheese or as a sandwich, they’re completely fine. staff are friendly. there’s tons of options & the store is clean. the lemonades are fun.
in the picture is a deli favorite with peppermill turkey, bacon, provolone, lettuce, red onion, and mayo on a sesame bagel. this sandwich was UNREAL. so refreshing & perfect for a beach day.

My boyfriend ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel on Sunday March 9th at around 10am at the Fairfield location.
After we got home to eat the bagel, there was a long gray hair in the bagel. I threw it away. I called Village Bagels at Fairfield location to voice my concern, a Spanish speaking man picked up, listened to my concern, and hung up. I called back and no one answered. All I was trying to say was for the person cooking the food to wear a hat or hair net.
Things like this happen but I am very disappointed in the customer service.
I hope when or IF I come back, the person cooking is wearing a HAT or a HAIR NET.

Decent bagels and food, but as of late, they always seem to make the incorrect bagel. Need to improve ordering system. Even a carbon copy writing pad would improve accuracy at checkout and verification of order.
Ordered a bagel with plain cream cheese, lox, and onion, only got plain cream cheese. Additionally ordered a sausage egg and cheese, got bacon instead. Employee at the counter correctly repeated the order back as we order each bagel.
