Very nice and clean old fashioned (classy) restaurant. I've been there 3 times in the last month and every time it was very quiet (great place for a date if you want to chat), the prices are reasonable, service was good, food was excellent and they have a great dessert menu. I have driven by this place for years and I'm glad I finally stopped there.
Bad atmosphere, food was ok... The fish had bones... But I enjoyed the noodles. Service was confusing and the hostess was very rude to my mother in law. But overall my table enjoyed there meals.
I have always loved Modesto's and have never had a single bad experience. I hope to return there again one day! Such a lovely place and such great food AND only minutes from family!
