“We have stopped here twice driving from UCONN to Mystic. The prices and atmosphere is so remarkable. Its like going back to the 1990s. The waitresses are sweethearts and the food is out SUPER fast. It kinda takes a while for them to bring the check and get you cashed out, but thats partly our fault because we dont finish the huge portions so they might not realize we're done.”

“The food at Gallo's is by far the best I've had in the area. They took extra care with our vegetarian quesadillas, creating an off-menu special with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, all freshly cooked and packed into fresh and tender corn tortillas. They will make anything in a veggie version and also do gluten-free. The storefront restaurant is modest but has a warm feeling. Gallo's has the feel of a community favorite and the food is made with love. Can't recommend this gem enough!”
