Driving through Gales Ferry and this place caught my eye. I really like Puerto Rican/Cuban cuisine and we were hungry so we figured we’d give it a shot and it was excellent!! So happy we stopped, food was excellent and the owner was really nice. We will definitely be going back.
1st time here, eat-in Monday lunch, two adults. Warm welcome, comfortable dining area. Good mix of customers -- families, singles, dine-in and take-out. While we were waiting a woman picked up her to-go and happily recommended her heirloom tomato sandwich, which we'll save for another day. I knew it was gonna be great when I saw that all the plants were thriving.
That was confirmed when the food arrived, and again with every bite! The portions were huge, I wound up taking half home so I could save room for dessert.
