Small breakfast and lunch place. The decor is light and bright from the large windows. The food is great. I had pancakes with fruit. The fruit was very fresh and the pancakes were fluffy.
I want so much to have a great breakfast diner here in Gales Ferry, and went 4 times before giving this review (to make sure I just didn’t get a bad day or two). Each time, I am unfortunately experiencing the same: toast is barely toasted, home fries that are hard, too spicy cubes, and so-so coffee. The spices on the home fries overpower everything else on the plate, and I am a firm believer that diner coffee should be very good. I hate giving this review: staff and atmosphere...
